I've had my 2007 Fusion SE 2.3 since May or so. It is automatic. I always find upon startup I have to idle for a minute before leaving. Otherwise I get this noisy diesel like sound when I put it in gear. After a few seconds the sound goes away. The car has almost 80,000kms on it. The car runs fine, I have zero issues. I'm just wondering if this is just a normal noise this motor makes? Is it just because the motor is cold and I"m being paranoid?
