I had this issue on my 08 MKZ twice now..replaced in January...two months later was bad again..i complained and they ended up replacing it with an updated driveshaft..all is quiet now..hopefully for good!!!

On the sel versions i have saw they have the shiny black trim along the dash but mine which is the 2.3 SE doesn't have that. It almost looks like it is missing something..i think it should be trimmed in the carbon fiber look along the dash the same as around the stereo

Thanks..i have had it now for just over three weeks and it has 1100 kms on it...I traded my Lincoln Ls for it. It was an awesome car but it was getting old and repairs were costly..not to mention the gas for it. I also own an 88 Mustang GT and a Yamaha Vstar 650 Custom Motorcycle..they are my toys :shades:

Hey everyone..i took it upon myself to look at the car because i for one hate going to the dealership and have always worked on my own cars..so anyway..what it was was a bit of moisture getting into the coil pack connection since at night its cold and daytime is warm..condensation was forming..dried it up well and added a bit of dielectric grease..alls well.

I don't want to sound rude but man..i'm not imagining anything..i have been working on cars all my adult life and know when something isn't right...i additionally own two other vehicles and a motorcycle and none of them do what i'm am trying to explain. I actually went to a Ford dealership today and they said there is a problem but are not sure what it is yet....

hmm...I will take it in a have it looked at anyhow...I imagine it's nothing serious as soon as it is running it is smooth.

Hi there..I'm new to this forum..just got my 2007 2.3 I-4 on Friday..i love the car but i have one question. Has anyone noticed that when you first start the car and the engine comes to life..it kind of shakes the whole car..almost like the engine is moving in the engine compartment?
