  1. Can someone reccommend a place to get this, just the right side for my 2011 Ford Fusion Sport (red)? It came about with a series of unfortunate events and didnt affect the body, just the plastic body flare/kit that seems like it's easy to replace and has a little rubber liner to go seamlessly to the car. I looked on fordparts.com and am not sure what it's called or it's not listed there, even though I used my VIN. I really hope it's reasonable and worst case I can get it painted once it comes in, I know someone with a body shop and has done door dings and other touchups on my car before. Thanks in advance!
  2. easy to install? it looks like it has an adhesive all you need to do is pull the backing off to apply with. It's not bad when I see your car.
  3. OK so I havent done really any modifications to my baby yet, for my birthday my wife got me a gift card for getting my windows tinted, 20% is sooo nice! It's so nice in fact that it's made me want to do the other stuff I've been thinking about like the dolphin fin style antenna's that the BMW, Audi, heck even Hyundai and all these other brands are doing now. I wanted to find one which will match my existing factory paint job (red) and that I wouldnt loose radio signal quality from. I use all the SiriusXM travellink, radio, etc. services. Any thoughts on where to buy one at? I see alot of mentions of the VG Shark Fin Antenna, but it seems a bit bubly/bulky for my taste.
  4. I have an 80 mile daily commute with 90% of it being on highway (~70mph). If I use cruise control and set it in the 68ish range and am not constantly overriding it to get in front of people then I can get a good 24-25mpg, but if I decide to be "slick" and hit it or use the select shifter then I may end up with around 21-22mpg. I usually get about 380 miles to a tank and am not overly thrilled with it, but it sure beats the 17-18mpg I was getting with my Ford Ranger
  5. OK so I was wondering if anyone has gottten tired of the "ugly" antenna on the 2011 Fusions? I'm over it and wanted to know if anyone out there has seen any with one of the dorsal fin types that are on BMW, Lexus and other nice cars? Hopefully without a loss in reception and with keeping the warranty in tact, maybe done by the dealer??
  6. Just to add to this post, I wanted to let everyone know I am sucessfully using a USB powered 2.5" 250GB HDD housed in the center console of my car. Now I only have about 37GB of music, but I formatted the hard drive (must be FAT32 formatted) and have over 200GB of space to put music. I havent had much experience with the "Jukebox" but I would think you wouldnt need this if you had digital copies of your music or used your computer to rip the CDs and convert them to MP3's, etc.
  7. Awesome post, I'm also new the the forums and own a new 2011 Sport model with all the trimmings, I love it and so does my wife, she wanted something safe and reliable for our kids (in the future) and I wanted to treat myself to luxary... I come from a long line of Fords (trucks though) and still have my Ranger, even though it's an extended cab it wont work when kids come along.
