  1. I have a 2015 SE with the 2.5. Suddenly today, my horn blows steady as soon as the key is turned on. Functions normally with key off (horn button, locking doors). I have removed the horn relay and car operates normally, no warning lights, just no horn. What could cause that to happen suddenly?
  2. I think they have the dual clutch system in place of a torque converter. I had a 2020 Escape as a loaner and I could tell it was one of those. It shifted fine but you felt a slight delay when starting from a stop.
  3. I haven't done mine just yet. I have a 2015 with the 2.5 and the only possible sight plug is on the back side of the cv shaft and takes a 10mm hex socket. Almost all of the videos I see has the sight in front of the axle and takes a regular socket.
  4. I have a similar condition on my 2015.
  5. Well, I ended up getting 215/60R-16 Blizzak's mounted on steel wheels from Tire Rack. I opted to not buy the TPMS for these and disabled the TPMS with Forscan. I put them on while it was snowing and didn't get to try them for 2 days as we got 40 some inches of snow. But, when I finally did get out, I can say I am pleased. I seem, to lost 1 mph with these. With the original tires, setting the cruise at 71 got me 70. Now I need 72 for that 70 but I think it will be fine. Thanks for the advice.
  6. I have a 2015 SE with 235/50-17 tires and I'm looking to buy dedicated snow tires/wheels. I have seen posts about 16" steel wheels and tires for them are drastically cheaper than buying 17's. What is everyone's opinion into what I should do here. I had the car in for warranty work and I asked about 16's and they never mentioned they wouldn't fit, they said it would mess with the speed sensors having non stock wheel sizes. I don't believe that line, as long as all 4 were the same size.
  7. This goes along with changing the fluid. What tool do I need to remove the sight plug? Looks line a large allen.
  8. Can't go wrong with a Motorcraft filter. $3.97 at Walmart or Amazon.
  9. My 2015 still has the original battery so I'm assuming a change is near. My Ford dealer has been regularly selling Motorcraft for prices cheaper than anywhere else. Can't hurt to replace with the exact same thing it came with.
  10. Nice reading this today. I usually get to about 9000 miles on my 2015 SE with the 2.5 before the change oil soon shows up. I always felt I was safe since I run Mobil 1 with the FL910 exclusively.
