i had the same noise on my 06 fusion while turning, going over bumps, etc. but ford siad it was the lower front control arms so replaced and problem solved. i asked them if i could just change the bushings and they said they cant be changed there pressed into the arms or some crap like that. so try your control arms may be your problem -

i have an 06 fusion se v6 with 82,000 miles on her and i rate her an 7. there are a few rattles inside the interior in the dash, the doors, passenger front seat. the buzzing at 1500 rpm that theres a tsb for when the temps are cold you can only hear it. had to replace front lower control arms cuz it was making a really nasty, loud creeking noise everytime ui would turn the wheel or go over even the slightest bumps. and those damn hex head screws that they have holding the brake rotors on, what a pain in da a** they can be. other than dat im pretty satisfied with my fus. anyone have any of those same issues with thier o6 3.o fusions¿¿¿¿

o ya makes sense that the ebd would make the rears ork a bit harder but to me its still strange that the rears would wear out before the fronts
-
i thought the rears were only like 10-15% of brake power
