  1. Yes it works on the 2007 Mustang. I have an early build '07. There's a long discussion here: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.p...ighlight=fusion
  2. I couldn't find the car WITH the Sirius option, so I want to add it on aftermarket. Does anyone know if the Sirius antenna (2007 model) is still on the roof even though I don't have the Sirius option? It would be nice to do the Ford add on, knowing I can use the antenna mounted on the roof.
  3. The computer says 24.0 mpg at only an average MPH of 25. She does all city driving. That's Cleveland weather in January (Although it's like spring time) with 1,300 miles on the car. I had 30.5 driving 120 mile round trip at Christmas. The only pic I have of it. You can even see snow in the wheel well...
  4. It will only show text for MP3 discs, not regular CD's. So if you create your own CD's, make them MP3 discs.
  5. I'm picking up a 2007 SEL I-4 loaded with everything except the Nav and the v-6 tomorrow night. I purposely wanted a loaded up 4 cylinder, so I was able to dealer trade a black / black leather SEL. I couldn't see paying an extra $1,800 for the v-6, plus I think the mileage is closer to 5 MPG better in real life. This is based on my test drive with resetting the mpg computer in both vehicles. I think I'm getting a good deal too. A-Plan with $2,000 in rebates. $1,000 in year end bonus cash and $1,000 for a returning leasee (Even though I'm buying it). All this with 4.9% for 60 months. This should total to about $19,500 before tax. This is an SEL with a moon roof, leather, heated seats and the big stereo. I'm pretty happy, and it's cool that you can get the top of the line with either motor. A lot of times they make you take the upgraded engine.
  6. I just test drove both a 4 and a 6 cyl FWD to do this specific test. Ran both at 65 mph and reset the average MPG. The v6 bounced between 25.9 and 26.0. The 4cyl was at 31.2. When I kicked the v6 up to 75, the MPG dropped to around 19, if I remember right. It's amazing how bad your miliage gets the faster you go. I've read that the wind resistance is double at 70 then it is at 55.
  7. Thank you for posting this. I'm doing a dealer trade tomorrow and I need to make sure that the car has these...
  8. Okay... I posted this over a year ago, and now I'm more confused on the antenna location for the '07. I see 2007's with both the glass antenna, and a new roof mounted antenna. I thought maybe the roof mounted was for Sirius also, but I see 2007's with the glass antenna AND a separate sirius mounted antenna on the roof. Was the roof mounted antenna combo (I'm assuming it does both radio and Sirius) a post Job 1 change for the 2007 model year?
  9. Can't be as bad as my 2002 Focus was. The right wiper would bring water over to the driver side, but the left wiper wasn't tall enough to wipe it all away, so a 4 inch line of water would spill down the just cleared windshield. I'm looking at the Fusion, and I will definetely check the wiper design. I might have not bought that focus had I known about the wiper design. I spent about $40 putting different size wipers on to lessen the problem.
  10. I can't find any photos of the antenna on the Fusion. Any idea? I really hope it's not the 60 year old antenna like on almost every other Ford.
