I've got the same problem...new 2012 SE, 4-cylinder, noise first appeared at 300 or 400 miles, usually seen in cooler temps. I'm taking my now seven-week old car into the dealer tomorrow for them to check it out.. First new car I've ever bought and the first time I've ever had an issue this early in ANY car I've bought. :-( I will definitely post updates as this progresses.

Bought a new 2012 SE, 4 cyl. near the end of Oct, 2011 and noticed the sloshing on the right front side after about a week or two of owning it. It occurs after I accelerate to approx. 15mph after a cold start (more than 4-ish hrs of non-driving), either being outside or in a non-heated but attached garage. The sound lasts for about 3 sec and isn't too loud (can be drowned out by a not-too loud radio), but can certainly be heard when the radio's off. Heat is always off when this occurs. I live in Michigan, but our fall was warm and we've only had a couple of nights below freezing (and just below 32 deg, too).

I'm thinking of buying a Fusion and qualify for Ford's X Plan. Never used this before, so can anyone tell me if it's better than haggling/negotiating? Can rebates be applied to prices under this plan? Also, can trade-ins be applied after the plan pricing? I'm looking to pay completely in cash (no loans or leasing) and have a trade-in worth approx. 2K. Thanks!
