I own a 2012 Fusion Sport. My car sits outside all the time. I wash my car multiple times a week. I keep it waxed and covered. I noticed the other day the top of my car feels rough. The sides are fine but the hood, roof and trunk feel like something has gotten on the paint. Just wondered if anyone knows anything i can use to remove it without harming my paint. I have never used a clay bar but it has crossed my mind. I really have no idea. Any help? Thanks

I own a 2012 Sport with rapid spec 402A + Nav system. I was looking at a few Lincolns the other day and i noticed they have different light bulbs for the interior lights. I have tried the LED lights in my car and i cant get them all to work. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get bulbs like are in the Lincolns. They aren't LED but are whiter in color compared to my Fusions...

I own a 2011 Sport. I have the rapid spec 402A with BLIS, Rain sensing wipers Heated seats, ect.. I'm just curious as to how difficult or how expensive it would be to install cooled seats (if at all possible) Just thought it would be nice to have. Leather seats get a little warm.

I'm still having some problems. My car has the 12 speaker Sony system It sounds great but my door panels vibrate and it drives me crazy. The dealer installed an anti-rattle kit but it doesn't help. When i push on the middle of the top panel it stops and sounds 10X better. I have had my car at two different dealerships about the transmission. I get a vibration around 45 mph. Everyone tells me the transmission is fine. I drove a 2010 and it did not do the same thing. I worked at a car dealership for six years and i know when a car sat on the black top for a long time it would get flat spots in the tire. My car was built on my birthday- August 16th in 2010. I didn't buy it until over a year later- August 20th 2011. Would it have been sitting on the lot too long and something be wrong with the tires? When i start my car i am still getting check brake system/Service advance trac warnings. Once i start they go away. But none of the other fusions ive been in do this? could it be the battery? Any ideas? I LOVE my car but these few little things are really getting on my nerves.

I'm sure you have found a remedy by now. Bu ti have an 11" Sport with the 390 watt 12 Speaker Sony system. My door panels are probably different than yours but i told Ford about it and they installed an anti-Rattle kit. Its basically little pieces of foam and it helps but int perfect. Just thought id throw in my complaint about it. It drivees me crazy.

I live in Ohio. Winter is here but i have not had snow yet. Just wondered if my Mirrors on my 2011 Fusion Sport are heated....I know on other ford models they heat when the rear Windows defroster is turned on. My car has the BLIS so the mirrors don't say if they are heated.

Yeah. I only use them every once in a while. I do like the way it sounds but it could be better. That won't mess with my warranty will it?

What color is yours? I want to tint mine. I think it would look good with the silver. I looked at the sports when they came out, but i was still in HS. I sold my Mustang Gt to get this car so im really hoping everything turns out okay... I started working at a car dealership when i was 14. I've learned what to do and what not to..so i hope im washing it right. My dad is a district manager for Oreilly Auto so i try to get pretty good detailing supplies. I keep a good coat of wax on it and use microfiber cloths. I don't want to drive it this winter but i don't have a choice. I want to take the best care of my car. Thanks for the help!....BTW i don't know what PM means lol Also, Should i use the city car washes? i don't like all the pressure on my seals and paint. I bought a hose nozzle with a shower-like mode with the least amount of pressure.

Thanks! :D I just talked to them and im taking it up Monday. He said the would fix everything. But im not leaving my car there until i have something stating what they are fixing. He said he would give me a car to drive (which needs to be another fusion). I didnt mention anything about my boss or a lawsuit. He said he was not happy with the fact that they scratched my car. He asked if i had any storms with hail at home. I told him "no, but i have a news article from the Dayton daily news that states you had one right before i bought my car, is that what caused the dents?" He said it was a simple process and they would fix it for sure......I wash my car twice a day and im very particular about it. I cant Believe i didn't notice the dents before. They are hard to see on the silver I know 250 isnt much to complain about but they lied about it. My window sticker says that it was shipped and bought by/to Hidy Ford.

I am having alot of issues with my Fusion Sport. I need some advice on ho to address the situation. I bought a 2011 Sport on August 20th 2011. The car had 250 miles on it already, the salesman stated that it had been traded from another dealership and that was the reason for the high mileage. Later on i realized on my window sticker it says on the bottom..."ship to Hidy Ford" Which is the dealership i bought it from. A few weeks later i took it back to the dealership to have the front brakes looked at. When i would brake the whole front end would vibrate like crazy. I told the service tech i thought they were warped. He checked it out and stated nothing was wrong. So i left the dealership pissed, stopped to get gas (the brakes continuing to vibrate) and noticed when they must have used the key to unlock my door they scratched the door handle! Two weeks later i had the dealership in another town check it out and they had to machine my front rotors because they were warped.. :angry: I went to wax my car a few weeks ago and noticed a few dents...my car is ingot silver so its hard to see dents or chips ( or im just an idiot and didn't see them)...i counted about 10-15 large dents all over the roof and on the passenger side of the car (but only from the chrome belt line up and on the roof, which would make sense if it was parked beside another car and the lower side was protected from hail hitting it that low). I looked up weather after being told the area my car came from (Beavercreek, Ohio) had a large hail storm. Turns out the had two, one in may and another in august, right before i bought my car... Now my car has a vibration around 40-50mph. Ford balanced the tires but it still does it. On numerous occasions it will drop rmps like its missing. But no warning lights appear. I called the dealership i bought it from, they are supposed to call me today and let me know what they find out. Im twenty years old, this was my first new car purchase. I Was really looking for a dealership to impress me and win my business, but all i have dealt with is poor customer service. I Work for an attorney but i don't know if i have a good enough case to threaten them with a lawsuit. Thank, Brian Simmons

They said it was my tires. Said they balanced them. But it still does it. I contacted the dealer I bought it from about all the problems I have been having. Not impressed with The fact I found about. 13 or more dents all over the top and on the passenger side.

That doesn't sound good. Hopefully the dealership will find out whats wrong tomorrow.

I bought my car August 20th and it has 6200 miles on it. It doesn't sit much but ill check the Battery situation. Thanks!
