  1. Put in my 93 octane sleeveless tune. New Steeda motor mount, and I have Steeda Springs on the way! Went to local drag srtip and ran a 14.5 @99.8mph!!! Hopefully these springs will plant the front end and I won't spin off the line anymore than it does already!
  2. I will be tomorrow TJ. Thanks for following up. I wanted to get all or most of the 87 octane out first. I want to get the springs soon!!! I still have to put in my motor mount...:-/
  3. That was just the CAI. The weather was in my favor. It was 55 degrees out so my car was breathing strong. Tj my tuner and car had a hiccup. I installed it and after a joy ride I parked it. Got in about 2 hours later to go to work and my car wouldn't start....I talked to Gus and he told me to put it back to stock, and try programming it again. Any word of this happening to anyone else??? After I reprogrammed it, it was fine. I noticed a little bit stronger pull around 1-3 gear. Not a lot but it's only 87. I'll. Run the 93 when I go to moroso next Friday.
  4. Hey speedbumb, how's the. CAI and tuner???? I just put my tune in and my car had a hard time starting...talked to Gus at steeda and we got it fixed. Must not have loaded the tune correctly the firt time. I'm saving to get the magnaflow exhaust next. It's pricey but when you shop around an extra 100 or 50 bucks to do it yourself and know its done right is that much better!
  5. It's fwd. don't need awd here in Florida. Haha. I just got my tuner. And I'm putting some borla mufflers on for a little sound. Hopefully with the tune I can be low 14s.
  6. Hey guys I took my sport to the track last Friday. I ran a 14.89@97mph!!!! All I added was the steeda CAI! I beat a Chevy cobalt Ss. Which as some may know its supercharged and I walked away from him!!!!
  7. Thanks Steeda. Got the intake and put it in last thursday. A very noticeable difference in sound! And a nicer stronger pull from the line and passing at about 45-60mph! Thank you tj for your help!
  8. I agree. That much power would have to be in an awd. My foot gets really heavy on the long ride to and from work. And it's nice to cruise up on someone and blow by them and know I'm still getting 27ish mpg!!!! But Steeda has yet to ship my intake. And they double charged me for it.... But after a long conversation with them I got it resolved. And should be shipped this week. Hopefully...
  9. I just ordered the CAI from Steeda. With the car completely stock I'm averaging 27.2. The dash reading was 31.1. Max speed 65. And I'm babying it at each stop light. But ive had it WOT twice up to 100ish. Also my 1/4 mile time the other night was 15.12 @93mph. The temperature outside was 60 degrees fairenheight. I hoping to get a 2 more mpg and be in the 14s! I'll let y'all know how it goes.
  10. Thanks man! I've read a couple of the threads where people have put cai and exhaust. But I wonder if there's a turbo, or s/c kit for the 3.5L. I'd rather not void the warranty. But I take real good care of my vehicles. One has 260,000 miles on it. Ford of course. I'm looking for a little wider tires to get more grip off the line. ThAnks for the advice.

Do you still have this kit?
  13. Hey y'all I just bought a 2010 ford fusion sport. Red. She's a beaut! And I've been looking online at performance parts. Some say the resulting horse power and torque. Also how low springs will lower, and if sway bars are worth buying. Thanks Chris
