  1. My 2012 Sport comes on at 50 miles. Usually around 1/8 of a tank or just above. The DIC computer does a good job estimating it, I've been forced to get down to below 10 miles left, and it matched mile for mile on the odometer, and I ended up putting a full tank in when I filled up.
  2. Do you have the MyKey system set-up? I know you can program separate keys to trigger low fuel light at earlier intervals.
  3. They are saying it is a defective part from the factory now. But then again, every time I ask them a question, it's either "oh yeah that's it" or "no that's not it." There is no straight answer from the service department except for one advisor who pulled me aside and told me it would be better if I just went to corporate customer service about it because I won't get anywhere with this service department. On top of that, if it is a defective part, what good will it do me to put a new part on if they're just replacing the defective part with the same defective part number? Hmm... I have a meeting Friday afternoon with the managers and customer relations reps Friday afternoon to see what can be done to mitigate this entire cluster**** of a new car. This kind of work two weeks after delivery of a BRAND NEW car is simply unacceptable. At the very least a replacement would be nice, though at this time my view of Ford cars and company has been soured and I'm preferring a refund and to take my money elsewhere. Call it overreacting if you desire, but this is just not okay.
  4. Update: Finally got an appointment to get the left upper control arm replaced today. They apparently have one tech who can do the repairs, and he was at training for a week, thus I got to wait. I now have a 1100 miles on the car, alignment still pulls, etc. Dropped the car off at 0800 this morning and they tell me it will be a couple hours. After not hearing anything all morning and being stranded throughout the day, (I live outside of the dealers shuttle radius), I call the service department at 3PM to check the status. I am told it will be 4:30 or 5. The service advisor then calls me back two minutes later. While replacing the part, they decided to check the right side. The right side now needs to be replaced as well, but worse than the left. The car isn't drivable. Parts won't be in until Friday or Saturday, work will be done sometime next week, so under my extended warranty/service plans I get a rental car. But...that's the current update. Still a little ticked. Over the last week I had gotten over the condemnation to lemonhood, but it has been brought back to life.
  5. Appreciate the input...just a little disconcerting having to bring it in in less than a week of having it, and finding out that it was delivered with problems that should've been fixed. I will see how it goes once it is repaired, and cross my fingers that I don't have anymore problems after this. It is pulling on flat, straight roads. I checked that, and the steering wheel is about 4-5 degrees left just to go straight. I did see they are coming out with a redesign, but from the leaked photos I saw and the rumors of it following the European Ford Mondeo model, it was not what I would have wanted, and we were at a point that we needed to get the car and couldn't wait any longer.   6. I know I'm bringing an old thread back from the dead, but I have a 2012 Ford Fusion Sport, have had it for six days. I've put 300 miles on it. The first day I had it, I noticed it drifted to the right. I had it in for another cosmetic problem yesterday and they told me I need to replace the upper left control arm. They told me the same thing, that it is just and from the factory and that it happens. I am also versing myself on my states lemon laws, as this whole situation is just sounding worse and worse the further I get into it with my service dept. Any input from anyone? Do the Sport's just have this issue or what?
