  1. For more "value" consider the awd option. http://www.fordvehicles.com/cars/fusion/awd/ In between corners the Fusion could be held at full throttle from the turn exit until the next turns entrance, without the front end running wide. Trying the same tactic in the FWD car resulted in the car understeering dismally, eventually putting the power down easily 50 feet outside where the AWD car did. http://car-reviews.automobile.com/Ford/rev...rack-test/1948/ It does add a little weight and complexity, but these systems are extremely reliable. Every Fusion model is a worthy competitor for others in its class, but the AWD version is in a class by itself. Nicely done. http://www.cars.com/go/crp/research.jsp?se...p;revlogtype=22 All-wheel drive is a new option for 2007, and we found the new, all-wheel-drive Ford Fusion extremely stable on wet pavement. http://www.automotive.com/2007/12/ford/fus...iews/index.html
