  1. Thank you everyone for the replies! I brought the car in today and it ended up being a dead battery cell as thought. An easy fix, but it was difficult finding a shop around here that had a battery decently priced as only one fits in the car (96r) .. every other battery would have had to been shaved down to fit. Now that its changed the only difference that I can notice is that my acceleration has picked up quite a bit.
  2. Thanks for the reply! The thing that gets me is that nothing in the car hinted to the battery dying. The car turned over fine when starting and never lacked power. I did have the seat belt light come on a few weeks ago, talked to Ford, and they told me something may be stuck under the seat. Moved them around a bit and the light went off and never came back on. Today after my battery died I see that some people have the same thing happen only it hints to your battery dying. Shouldn't the battery light come on for that?
  3. I took my car out at midnight to run to the store and everything in my car was running fine, started without trouble, etc. This afternoon I went to start the car again and nothing happened. It wouldn't turn over, and was making an odd buzzing sound (before the key was in the ignition), which eventually went away. I had my car jump started; however, once I parked it the charge did not hold. Now my question is, since it's only an '09, generally how long does a battery is a Fusion run? Quitting after 2 years seems to be a little short? Nothing was on or plugged in, and there was no sign of the battery dying. Thanks!
