  1. I did a stupid and cracked the oil pan on my Fusion Looking under the car and at the oil pan, it looks like I can remove all the boils and drop the pan to replace. The exhaust does run across the pan but seems to be enough room to squeeze past. Does anyone know if this is possible to be done this way or will I need to disconnect my exhaust before dropping my oil pan?
  2. The presets on the raidio stay. My clock keeps time the curent battery is only a few months old and shows no signs of it going dead.
  3. I do leave on. I never trun the system off. But when I start the car in the morning after sitting the garage over night it's off. And the same when it sits all day at work when I leave it off again. It also corresponds with the outside tempature any temp about -4c works like intended below that it auto turns off when the car is restarted. If I'm out and running around during day or night and the car is not off very long it seems to be ok.
  4. I have a 09 SEL V6 with the auto temp system. When the outside tempature drops below -5c and I start my car with the key or using my remote start the heat system will be off. Even when the engine tempature is high enough to produce heat I still need to turn it on. When I park the car the system is on and working fine. If the outside temp is -3c it works normaly. It kind of defeats having a remote start to warm the car when the hearer is off when I get in the car
  5. I have a 2009 SEL V6 I was driving on the hwy last week. The hood of my car was lifting on the trailing edge nearest the window. It seemed to be more on the drivers side of the window and by the hinge point. I pulled over had a look didn't see if anything was busted or missing. Has anyone seen this before?
  6. It's illegal in my Provence to use your fog lights and high beams at the same time. I believe in most jurisdictions it is as well that's why the factory system shuts them off when the high beams are on
  7. Waldo that's exactly what they did after hunting down some history on the car and under the hood. I found a crapy little relay cut into my lighting system to make my DRL work. One of the wires pulled was pulled out of the relay for now I just reconnected the wire to make the system work. Seeing DRL is part of the factory system ill take it to a dealer to have it enabled and remove the crap the other place installed Thanks guys you got me looking in the place BTW with out DRL running on my car I could have been hit with $300 ticket and 2 points on my License
  8. All my lights are working. Head light, High beams and Turn signals. I normaly leave my lights on auto when I would start my car my amber lights would come on. Even with my switch turned to the off position the amber lights would turn on when I started the car. I guess I'll make a call to the guy I got the car from and see what he did to set up the marker light to come on when the car starts
  9. I have a 2009 SEL V6 I live in Canada but the car is from the US. Cars in Canada require Day time running lights. Unlike a Canadian version of the Fusion mine are hooked up to my blinkers and not my head lamps. My problem is they have stopped working all my other light systems are working fine. My question is where in the car in the is the relay that controls the day time running lights? And is it possible to test it and see if that is what is wrong?

    Hello

Howdy all! I got my 09 Fusion SEL about a year ago. And found the site yesterday. Was found by looking for information on Projector Headlights. The site looked interesting so I signed up
