  1. Thanks. I think your advice is the real solution rather than fooling around with it.
  2. The seatbelt locks in place so tightly that it occasionally can’t be used. We fuss with it, pulling gently in various directions to no avail. It may or may not release. Strangely, the next time I come out, it may release with no problem. Any ideas?

  4. Took my '15 FFH in to get 15S08 (Steering Bolt) and 19S25 (Seatbelt Pretensioner) Recalls fixed. A few weeks later, Ford sent me the attached letter stating that their audit suggests that the work wasn't done correctly. I contacted the dealer and they'd never heard of such a letter and were quite surprised. Has anyone here had a similar experience? Any advice? Should I go to a different Dealer? TIA. 5. After 49 months, almost to the day, the 12v battery in my 2015 FFH gave up the ghost. I had read where 4-5 years was the norm so was not too surprised. 62k miles, mostly in the great variety of temperatures and conditions of New Hampshire gave it a workout. Really lucked out in that the car refused the day’s first start after resting overnight in our garage! what has been your experience?
  6. I’m reasonably confident that a block heater could be used to ensure the engine starts in cold weather which would have to happen with any car. Hybrids aren’t overly efficient in weather extremes but neither are conventional ICE’s. My ‘15 has been a gem as far as I’m concerned. Smooth, quiet, low maintenance, comfortable, intriguing for any nerdy types! You only live once; if it’s unsatisfying, sell it and get something else.
  7. Thanks for the info! I think you’re spot on with it. I’ll have to find one of those old models with the click switch, if they’re still made!
  8. I have a 2015 Fusion SE Hybrid and while traveling Plug in a marine refrigerator/freezer. This unit runs well in the car and have had no problems. It uses what I call the cigarette lighter plug at the rear of the console. The problem comes when I plug in a heating pad using the two-prong outlet at the rear of the console. The heating pad will not heat up at all. I’ve disconnected the refrigerator thinking the system can’t support both at the same time. No heat in the pad. I’ve plugged the refrigerator into the two prong outlet and it runs fine. The heating pad operates fine at home and in hotels. Appreciate any suggestions or ideas you may have.
  9. It would help the really smart people on this forum to know the year of your hybrid, mileage, etc. Not being a wise guy, jut trying to help.
  10. No problems lately. I’m assuming operator error has been corrected.?
  11. Yes, the green light in the lower left is hard to miss. She’s much aware of this. I relayed your suggestion to turn the key fully against the tension spring. We’ll see what happens next. Appreciate your suggestions.
  12. Oh yeah! A few of us can’t handle fobs and push button start.?
