Those look good man...

I am also on Steeda springs and have no issues with 19's.

The silencer is under the filter box. Depending on how heavy your foot is really determins you MPG's. A aftermarket intake may actually help you gain gas milage but most people that get them dont care. Low end torque will be improved not hurt with more air flow. I dont really think you will gain any power from removing the silencer but it will make your stock intake louder. The Steeda intake is worth the money if you are willing to shell it out.

What performance upgrades can I do with my 2010 2.5 SE?
3 point 5 replied to slymuthafuka's topic in 2.3L/2.5L
You wont make it fast by any means but you can make it more fun to drive. Steeda intake, Steeda tune, Steeda lowering springs, some nice wheels, window tint, HID's, Steeda rear sway bar, Magnaflow catback exhaust. Atleast thats what I have done. Thats not a cheap list though. Those parts are about $2,000 or so... -

Are you selling your car??? -
Did you happen to see I was quoting someone else. Who is being defensive now? Pay attention you might learn something. I just dont like when people have so strong of a opinion that it comes off like you are being a ***hole. For example akirby. Opinions are fine just as long as you stay open minded. Dont be so black or white. Im just going to move on now. Next subject please...

Nope... Just 15 millimeter spacers. No vibration, sound, or rubbing
-
Well you cant paint them chrome so that option is out but you can do them whatever color you like. I would save your money though. I recomend craigs list. We have the most common lug pattern (5x114.3 or 5x115) so it wont be hard to find a cheap set of 18 with tires. Happy hunting...

You should ask him how it will mess up your suspension. I would love to hear his answere. I have Mustang GT wheels off a 2010+ and no issues. They are 19x8.5.
-
LoL... What??? Never heard that one before.
-
Well done... welcome to the forum. I love my 2012 AWD Sport.
-
Yes because its all about "being cool"... If people cant pay attention to stopped trafic its not my fault (rtcaravan)... As I said, "its only dangerous if it is over done. You can see my brake lights very clearly during the day but I still get the look I want without sacrificing safety. If you cant handle people modding there car how they like go find a "car forum" that doesnt talk about mods. We will do just fine without you. Stop acting like a old man from the 60's. You seem to have a lot of negetive opinions on just about every subject. We dont come here to listen to some old fart we come here for support, ideas, and fun. You just seem to take it to seriously.
-
Yes a 245 45 will fit "safely" on that rim. I have seen it done many times and it looks good and no bulging.
-
LoL... You love to argue dont you? Its only a bad idea if you do them to dark. Like I told you, you cant even tell thay are tinted at night and does not effect them what so ever during the day. Argue all you want to Its not going to change anything.
-
Tinting tail lights in no way is a bad thing. Even if you tint them so dark with VHT you cant even see the red you will still be able to them very clearly when they are on at night. I am a professional painter and I did mine. They look great and you can not tell what so ever that they are tinted at night. Akirby all you do on this forum is act like you know it all. Keep your mouth shut for once. From your attitude on other subjects you seem to not like any modification to vehicles. You think they are "unsafe"... People are going to do this weather you like it or not so get over it...

Strut Tower or Rear Sway Bar?
3 point 5 replied to zigzag1111's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
You sir are incorrect... The fusion has front struts and rear shocks. So it has both, do a little research first. Why do you think we have (strut towers) in the front of our cars and a (strut brace) to hold them tighter together? The front upper strut bar does help a little but not nearly as much as the rear sway bar. -
