my snow wheels did that, i just used a sanding block and rust-oleum black paint. i may sandblast them this year though as it lasted about 2 years

yep look for a local guy (i am heavy on promoting it since i'm involved with it lol) but they should be ballpark our cost is $150 completely refinished and straightened obviously look for someone in town to save shipping and down time but good luck!

yep my snows are from my 06 SE V6 and are actually mazda 6 steel wheels

just do your homework just because a vehicle has a salvage title does not mean its a piece of crap. i know a few local guys who flip them. they own bodyshops and use correct parts etc. just doing the work themselves saves thousands that the insurance companies didn't want to pay. they buy the cars cheap at auction and rebuild them. if you are really considering one. ask for records and find out of the seller did the repairs also take the car to a independent local bodyshop or mechanic for a once over if you do it right you can get a great car for short money and get many years out of it

wellll since its a boat anchor now it will remain just that. my car has NEVER shifted right and most likely never will. i just hope it blows up before 60k so i can get a new one (that probably won't be any better) the continued use of this trans will deter me from buying anything its mounted in. its piece of crap design

who is charging 38k for them?? i built one online and topped it out titanium etc and it was like 32k

the one my dealer had was a base model with hubcaps. it was also sold and locked but it looked good. but the no V6 is my big issue. i bought the 12 so i could get a v6 even though mine is "challenged" i would consider another one someday but i really do miss my 06 SE V6 that was THE best car i ever owned

STILL working on mine. BTW it was in for 2 days this week and was fixed for 10 miles. so back we go!

hmmm i was afraid of those fuel fillers.

my problem is i drive the hell out of it its 6 1/2 months old and has almost 16k on it. now i am battling a rattle the dealer can't find which will require another trip in. as for the trans at this point i am going to let it grenade itself and hope its under 60k if its over 60k i will just get a lawyer and my receipts for the 15 visits for trans problems.its new trick is to randomly stall out on left turns. its done it 4-5 times now. i have never been so disappointed in a vehicle in my entire life.

mine was in last week for a rattle that "we can't duplicate" well hit a frigging bump. its in the B-pillar or sunroof and is driving me up a wall same thing sounds like plastic bits ticking against each other

6 months and 1 week old and will roll 15k tomorrow and amazingly nothings fallen off yet (somehow)

depends on the rim but usually not. most are not even painted at all. standard wheel cleaner will remove 90% of the stuff that sticks to it.

my 18" edge rims were but my 17" stock SEL rims were bare metal so its a toss up with ford

my SEL's are finally done!!

we masked off the machined portion sprayed over the stock silver with BMW black sapphire then clear coated the entire rim

the custom work on the stock rims for my car is DONE! did it in the spare time between customers jobs but in total 6 hours of taping and bmw black sapphire paint (very close to my tux blk) later the OEM SEL wheels are transformed into BAD ASS
