  1. Found a back seat from online for $300 shipped. Just replaced the 60 side of the seat. The fabric all matches it was a easy job.
  2. Will my factory harness work with the Platinum/Titanium headlights? Since mine doesn't have the LED strip will my harness give power to the light?
  3. I have a 17 Fusion with halogen headlights without led signature strip. One of my headlights is scuffed badly that cannot be repaired. I am wanting to buy some aftermarket headlights that will be a direct plug and play. I want a led signature strip and maybe LED beams. Any suggestions on what brand. Don't see many options online.
  4. I have a 17 with halogen bulbs. I ordered a set of Lasfit LEDs for high and low beams and pretty excited to install them since I have good experience with this brand. Well they don't fit, the socket is correct and the plug but the bulb itself wont go into the headlight assembly. It has a fan on the LED bulb preventing this. What other 6k LED bulbs worth while using that will fit the fusion? I am willing to pay for good bulbs since these cost $130 per set. Thanks
  5. Bought a used 17 Fusion with 2.5L with 23k miles. Didn't notice a rough idle at test drive. The next day while using the AC in gear it vibrates more than desired. Turn the AC off it quits vibrating, put the car in neutral or park with the AC on it quits vibrating. Noticed my RPM is around 700. I believe it needs to be at 1000 RPM for the motor to have enough power to run the AC and the torque converter. Is there a way for me to raise it? I don't believe it's motor mounts or trans mount due to the low mileage. Any advice?
  6. I have a 17 S model which does not have any fog lights. There are plastic pieces there now. I assume there is no wiring and pig tails plug to add fog lights. Does anyone suggest which kit I get to add some. I have seen a few kits on eBay and I'm sure you guys know what's good and what's not. I also want to wire it without a switch. I think I want them to come on when the headlights are on or accent light. Thanks
  7. Yes there is no rear armrest period. We didn't know this till after we bought and got it home. So I would have to replace the 60 side of the seat with a SE trim. I figured someone else has done this and added cup holders with a aftermarket way. Thanks.
  8. Thanks for your help. The dealer misinformation us and I thought this was right what you are saying. Thank you again
  9. Does the 17 Fusion S package have fobless entry. What I mean can you keep your fob in your pocket and will the car unlock when touch the handle and lock when walk away. Can't find any answers online. Thanks
  10. We just bought a 17 S trim and realized when after we bought that it does not have a rear console with cup holders. How can I add cup holders has others added cup holders, I'm sure someone has been in this situation before.
  11. I purchased the quick struts for the fusion. Upon first look they seem great. Nice finish they look very similar besides the dust boot and bump stop. I was pretty excited to see how they perform. After install I went down the road to try some bumps and some speed bumps to see how nice the ride is. Well I must I am very disappointed, they ride terrible. They are extremely noisy, It sounds like the strut rod is smacking inside the strut mount. My worn out stock struts, springs and mounts were tons quieter. Also monroe quick struts raised the front end around 2 inches. I guess I need to take them back out and try to get a refund since I am not settling for this ride. Heads up they suck
  12. Not looking for anything performance wise, just daily driver. Im not worried about their strut performance or durability but more so upon their strut mounts and spring quality. I didnt know if the gauge of steel was the same and ride height. Also I didnt want crappy strut mounts and bearings what will make noises shortly after.
  13. Update: I have cleaned my MAF sensor and throttle body with the proper cleaners. The throttle body was gunky, the MAF sensor look perfectly clean but cleaned it regardless. After using MAF sensor cleaner on it and letting it dry while I cleaned the throttle body with throttle body cleaner, I had some strange issues. Started the car back up and it had a rough idle then smoothed out. Then I decide to rev on it a bit, after I hard rev when the motor is idling down it pulses between 2000 rpm to 2500 rpm for a few seconds. It does this every time now. But the car still drives the same, it still has its laggy feel when it is trying to get to highways speed. Was wondering if I should bite the bullet and replace all of the ignition coils and plugs. If this doesnt solve them problem at least that could be some preventative maintenance. Is there any coils that are just as good as oem but at a lower cost??
  14. I will take your advice on your air filter. I will also clean the MAF sensor. Yes it does loose power during a load. No the coils have never been changed. The plugs are not that old and they are OEM plugs and are in good shape with correct gap. Thank you
  15. Also something else to think about is trying to knock out all suspension compents ad you can due to alignment. Would hate to pay for another alignment after you replace the ball joints and realize soon after you have a bad tie rod or strut. Food for thought
