1. I no longer have my Fusion, I do have a set of summer tires on rims I would like to sell to fund lighting mods on my new car. 19s with Eagle RS-A. Approx 50% tread left. 2 of the rims have minor "soft tissue" damage when I was run off the road by a fire truck last year. Rims are at my house and I am on the base during the week, below is a link to the rims that they are. http://www.dragtimes.com/parts/Factory-OEM-18-18-Ford-Fusion-Wheel-Rim-3801-R_280837289509.html $600.00 I will deliver anywhere in the National Capital Region (Canada)
2. No modifications.... I range anywhere from 750 to just shy of 900km depending on my driving habits. I get my best when I am on the highway obviously. I am thinking of putting in a K&N air filter on mine.... potentially a CAI but I am still thinking of that idea.
3. I have the same question or conundrum.... I have the factory spoiler on my car. Will I be able to find a trunk setup?
4. Im not being sarcastic, I would do exactly what I am going to suggest. Get one of those digital measuring caliper thingers, go to a dealership and take your own measurements on probably 2 or 3 different ones.
5. This is what I have been looking for. I brought it up at the dealer I get my maintenance done at and they had no idea what I was talking about, or at least played it off that way as to avoid some extra work.
6. To be honest I troll scrapyards.... I found one last weekend over the phone and when I got there it was in perfect condition aside from the fact that it was red..... lol It was rear ended from a transport truck. The scrapyard guy let me take the rubber trunk liner for 5 bucks though so it wasn't a total loss of a day.
7. Was it a pain to find the paint? I have the same one and I want to do the same thing. Too much chrome for my liking.....
8. Im looking to talk to someone who has a Thule roof rack setup on a 2011ish Fusion. I was sold a rack kit last year and everytime I go to the shop they have a note in their window saying they are closed for the day, I am getting fedup with the promises from them to stay open allowing me the extra half hour to drive to them from the base I am stationed at. I am beginning to think that I was sold the wrong mounts because I can't make any sense out of it. I know the 480R mounts fit pretty well anything without existing roofrack gear, but I have recently found out that the 480R is made in a number of configurations. Pretty sure I need the 1520 configuration and I have no f_____ idea if that is what I have. Pictures please or advice would be great!
9. You'll be getting results soon from me in Canada. I'm at 66000km but thats mostly highyway cruising. I have the odd issue with my transmission but not as bad as this video. I also heard (in Canada anyways) there is a chip that they are changing at the dealership which addresses a shifting issue when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd gear. Sometimes when I drive using the manual shifting it still shifts weird.
10. 020 works great here for the winter months. I don't live so remotely that I drive a skidoo part of the year, but where I am we have about 8 or 9 weeks that really really suck. I bet if they ship to Canada it'd be expensive. Ill have a look, I may be proven wrong. At the rate I am going, I will be out of my factory warranty in another 18ish months. Im all for spending a bit of extra coin to make my car last a bit longer and possibly perform a bit more efficient.
11. When I go down a hill I disengage the cruise control, and going up a hill I also disengage and maintain my accelleration manually. After the exchange rate gas in Canada works out to be $5.00-5.75 per gallon so every trick helps.
12. 3380km when I bought my 2011. It was a demo car. Today rolling into work I hit 63800km. 90% of that is highway at 100-110km/h because the army base I am posted to is about 90 minutes-ish from my house.
13.
I have them on my 2011, no issues at all.

14. Legal in Canada as long as they don't exceed 6000k, well in Ontario anyways. I totally get what you are saying on cheap Chinese ballasts. I have 6000s in my car right now, $350 installed I believe, driver side flickers from time to time or doesn't come on. Its worse in the winter. I have to turn them on and off a few times...crappy ballast I am guessing at.
15. What is everyones opinion on synthetic oil? I have an 11 Fusion SE, and in the 13 months I have owned it I put on 56000km. A huge majority of that is highway cruising at 90-120km/h between the base and my house. (Army base where I am posted is 90 minutes from my house and my wife) I currently have the prepaid maintenance package which has oilchanges and regular scheduled maintenance. I am contemplating switching to synthetic because (I think) I can go longer without an oil change, its all around better for my engine, helps with gas mileage, durable in cold weather Canadian starting, etc. etc. etc. If you were in my boots, would you start supplying the oil and continuing with the service plan, or stick with it at oil changes every 8000km for the time being? I think I am good up to 100,000km before I have to start paying. After that, I plan on doing my own oil changes because labour up here is legalized theft! I ran mobil1 on my old car without any problems at all. What is everyone elses opinion on oil...dont tell me RoyalPurple either, its like 13 bucks a litre up here..... unless you want to pay for it for me... lol Cheers!!!!
16. So what you are saying then is I am screwed? I have some of those issues from time to time. When I drive at 110-120kmh I notice the rpm can vary a bit. Last weekend pulling out of my inlaws driveway when I put it into reverse it did a clunk. I have 60000km give or take. Suggestions please?
17. I have an 11 SE and I was wondering the same thing. When I shine a torch onto my display, I can see where the temp display is, numbers are there yes, but I havent a clue how to activate it or if it is an extra option. Have you figured anything out about it yet?
18. Looking at pictures, thats probably what I will end up doing. tirerack.com has a thing where you can "view it on your car" but its not that great. Theres a rim by sparco that I like.
19. Periodically when I turn my car on, my driver side headlight will not turn on. I notice it the most when I am out driving and I stop somewhere, and then come back to the car after about 15 minutes from an errand or whatever. I have to turn my headlights on and off repeatedly to fix this. Very rarely it happens to the passengerside. Could this be an issue with the cold weather? (NAtional Capital Region) Or faulty ballasts?
20. Its an allen key, I cant remember what size. I raised mine a tad after putting in my Hids
21. European plate? Im curious to see if anyone has done that on here. The stock bracket looks brutal, but Ontario requires front and back plates. Guys on the base put their front in the window with suction cups if their car was from another province before. It is all up to the MP who stops you if you will get a ticket or not. Im thinking about getting a plate bracket that is more low profile so it almost looks as if the plate is attached right to my bumper.
