  1. Depends on what kind of look of you're going for....sporty or flashy? Those are definitely flashy and a little too "bling" for my taste. Personally, I don't like the design, even if they weren't chrome. A friend of mine had them on his 2011 Mustang GT and they did nothing for his car. And they are EXTREMELY heavy....I don't recall the exact weight, but they were so heavy, he took them off and went with some lighter 19s. And his car has 400+ rwhp, I can only imagine how bad they would affect acceleration and mpg on a 4 cylinder...
  2. What year? If it is a 2010+, here is the link I used. Kind of tedious, but not too bad. http://www.fordfusionclub.com/index.php?topic=190225.0
  3. I am 6'1 and I have a moonroof in my 2010. I have no problems with my head hitting the roof. I usually adjust he back of the base yo the lowest postion and the front of the base to about midway. This seems to work best for me, but I have really arms and legs, lol.
  4. I do not regret buying a four cylinder at all. I bought this car because it gets great mpg(28 city/32 hwy average), not because I wanted to go fast. I have driven the 6, and while it was definitely stronger, it wasn't enough of a difference for me to pick it over the 4. I have never wanted or needed more power while driving my car. Like I said, it definitely isn't fast but it is peppy and has more than another passing power, etc. With that said, I would just test drive a Fusion with each engine choice and see which one you like best.
  5. Lamborghinis are ghetto because they are low. OP, the orange wheels aren't my cup of tea but it is your car so it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
  6. Just got registered...I registered under a different email address and it worked right away. Thanks for your help.
  7. Ok thanks. As of yesterday the registration was still not working. I just checked my email and I registered on March 16th so it has been over a month now. How long was it before you were able to post?
  8. I know several of you guys are also members over on FordFusionClub.com so I figured Isomebidy may be able to help. I registered over there several weeks ago and received an email but I still have not received the confirmation email that will allow me to post on the forums. I also tried registering again but it says that "registration is disabled at this time". I have heard that they were having trouble with spammers but I don't get why I still haven't received the confirmation email. Would one of you guys be so kind as to contact one of their mods and see what's up? I know it is not that big of a deal but that site seems to be really active and I would like to post over their as well. Thanks in advance for you guys help!
  9. Thanks, I appreciate it. I am still undecided about the lower grille. I was going to do it but after looking at it for a while I kind of like how it looks. I think it may he too much black and not have any contrast if I black them out too. We'll see. I just tinted the stock side markers with VHT Night Shades. You can get it at any auto parts store. A couple more shots... I tried to get a rolling shot with my DROID but it didn't turn out all that great...
  10. No, not at all. Once you remove the 4 10mm bolts up top, you can pull the whole grille assembly forward to gain access to the speed nuts and push tabs on back of the grille. This is the link I used for the directions: http://www.egclassics.com/inventory/item.php?itemid=832
  11. Plasti dipped my grille today. It makes the car a little less "blingy" for sure, but I am still not sure if I like it or not yet. I have always liked the monochrome grilles but I just don't want to shell out the money to have it painted(and hopefully match). Anyway, I removed the grille(very easy, took less than 10 minutes) and applied two thick coats of Plasti Dip. It seems to have more of a satin look and much smoother finish if you apply it this way, versus multiple light coats like regular paint. It actually came out really nice(not cheap looking like some Plast Dip jobs I have seen). And if I decide to leave it I will probably go ahead and do the lower grille and fogs as well. Let me know what y'all think!
  12. I already did, check out my thread just below with this one. Here is one of the pics...
  13. I got these tinted when we first got the car a couple years ago but I think they are 20%. Looks so much better!
  14. Looks good man, I really like that color too. That rear shot would look sick with a fat set of meats out back! Can't wait to see it once you drop it.
  15. Tein S Techs. I had an alignment done and the camber was in spec but the toe was just barely out of the acceptable range. I love how the car sits now, but I think the front sits about 1/2-1" higher than the rear. I am going to look into getting some of those spacers to raise the back end up just a hair. The ride is definitely firmer now but it is still very plush and not harsh at all. Actually the only time Iu notice that it is lowered is if I drive across a really rough railroad crossing or expansion joint.
