2.3 egine died. swap to 3.0?

my 2007 2.3 died at 130k, still owe a like 6 grand so just hoping to drop in a new engine drive another year and trade it in. BUT ive noticed that the 3.0 engine used is much cheaper than a 2.3 but is it still doable?

Today my door handle broke. so i took to facebook and twitter. this has worked for me with other companies to get things done. I bought my fusion with a spoiler, and the last person left the third brake light that, until this morning was still in the rear window. i removed it and fixed the wiring (when i bought it, it was wired to the left brake light, so it blinked with my directional, cops didnt like that....) anyways, i assume there must be a peice that covers these holes. anyone know where i could get one?
