  1. Very few fusions have a hitch. I used the 12v power point in the rear hatch for my MKX with no problems.
  2. Chances are the battery is weak and dead or dying. See if there is a date on it. They rarely last more than 3 years. I would just replace it.
  3. If the battery is over 3 yrs old it’s 98% the battery.
  4. Pretty sure abs and tc only look at the relative speed of each wheel to the others and not the vehicle speed. Probably the sensor but try to check for loose or broken wires first.
  5. If the battery is more than 3 yrs old just replace it. Sometimes they can test ok but still be bad and that can cause all sorts of random failures.
  6. The dealer machine doesn’t flush anything, it just uses the cooler lines to replace the old coolant with new coolant using the normal trans pump. It changes 98% including the torque converter.
  7. Did you change the spark plugs? If so then I would look for bad wiring from the coils back to the PCM.
  8. Tirerack.com is a good research tool. Cooper seems to be a less expensive but still good brand.
  9. We don’t delete accounts. Just don’t log in.
  10. The “battery” light means a charging issue so normally the alternator, but the battery itself might also be bad.
  11. It’s near the overhead cams but if you don’t know that you probably shouldn’t try to replace it.
  12. They extended the warranty through October regardless of original warranty status. The block design was fixed in 2019 so either they used the wrong block or installed it improperly.
  13. If it’s just surface rust sand/grind it down to bare metal, fill, prime and repaint. If it’s more extensive you can cut out the rust and have a piece welded in. You shouldn’t have to do the whole rocker unless it’s all rusted through.
  14. Somehow? Traction control uses the brakes to stop the spinning wheel. It does the same thing for stability control. That’s why you have 4 channel ABS - so the computer can brake each wheel individually.
  15. Does it only do it after it sits for a few hours? Could be a leaky injector.
  16. It’s inside the tank and hardly ever fails. What’s the problem?
  17. You could have stopped at cylinder head temp sensor. It’s bad.
  18. They extended the warranty so it shouldn’t cost anything.
  19. Evap canister and/or purge valve replacement.
