  1. You don’t have to reset it manually, just let the car sit for at least 8 hours with no keys nearby.
  2. 2011 Fusion S came standard with 16” wheels and 205/60R16 tires and there is no mention of upgraded brakes so I would bet they’ll fit. Do a test fit before you buy tires and make sure it clears the calipers.
  3. Try reading the existing topic right next to this one.
  4. Just hit the radio power button. You don’t need accessory mode.
  5. First get your terminology correct. You’re purchasing not leasing. You have a loan not a lease. A lease is like renting - you give it back after 2-3 years. If you can get back what you paid for the 2017 and you’re happier with the 2014 at a lower cost then financially it’s not a bad deal. But be aware you’ll have more maintenance costs due to the higher mileage and more likely to have some repairs. That might eat up some or all of the cost difference. So plan to spend something on repairs and maintenance,
  6. Do you actually have 225/50r17 tires now? Do your wheels look like one of these? These are definitely the correct wheels and they are not small at all.
  7. Sounds like the Evap coil is freezing up which blocks airflow until it thaws out. Replace the Evap temp sensor and see if that fixes it.
  8. Make sure they test/check the sensor and tone ring - may be damaged. As for the battery if it’s more than 3 yrs old just replace it. But you can’t go by voltage. Get a SOLAR digital tester that measures CCAs.
  9. Could be the battery but it’s more likely the leak messed up a wheel sensor or it’s in the ABS system.
  10. I assume it’s the original battery? Change it. 90% of strange electrical problems are bad batteries even though it still starts the car.
  11. It’s possible but I bet the gearing is different.
  12. Hard to say but if the battery is more than 3 years old I would replace it and see if that fixes it.
  13. Sell it and buy a 2017+ Sport. Seriously.
  14. It’s a defective block design. It would not qualify for a recall and there is no extended warranty at this time. Your dealer should work with you to cover at least part of the expense so close to the warranty expiration.
  15. Why why why why why why why do people buy the smallest engine possible and then want to add performance instead of just buying the bigger engine? Drives me crazy.
  16. Owners can most certainly be biased even if it’s mostly unconscious. Just the fact that two vehicles that are almost identical with different badges built in the same factory with the same parts can have vastly different reliability ratings should tell you they are not 100% reliable. Also - they gave Tesla model S a rating of 103 on a 100 point scale (which shouldn’t be possible) even though 100% of the controls are on one touch screen, yet they berated the Explorer because SOME of the controls were on the touch screen only and it wasn’t safe to take your eyes off the road to find them. That is hypocrisy at it’s finest.
  17. Once again, it’s not designed to stay in EV mode for extended periods nor should you try to force it. The system knows how best to utilize the battery power and sometimes the ICE is better. Just drive it.
  18. Dean - you shouldn’t be driving to keep it in EV mode. Drive normally and Let the system determine how to use the battery. It’s not always efficient to use EV power. It can’t fully charge the battery at highway speeds because as soon as you hit the brakes to slow down it regens and adds more charge so you need room for that. Sounds like it’s working normally and you just need to drive it and stop worrying about the battery level.
  19. Ford was barely making any money on 500k+ focus and fusion sales. Now those vehicles have been replaced by Ranger, Bronco, Bronco Sport and Maverick which will sell at least that many and probably a lot more for a LOT more profit. But yeah, they do t know what they’re doing.
  20. Not an infatuation and not going away. There is still a market for sedans but it’s crowded and the margins aren’t good. You can also thank BEVs for diverting resources away from ICE car production and development.
  21. If that's the base radio I don't think it would be possible to buy a new speaker that wouldn't handle the load.
