I had this exact problem on my 2011 se the dealer said it was probably when they tinted the window they may have messed something about I thought it was an odd reason but when I asked if I would have to pay anything he laughed and said "no even if we have to replace the door it's on us what kinda dealer would make you fix a brand new car on your own and then expect you back" He took the words right out of my head. My wife wrecked it before I could take it in laziness on my part. On my new sport I haven't even rolled down the back windows this Texas heat keeps the ac running strong. I'll try it later.

I just got my black 2012 ford fusion sport FWD after my wife totaled my silver fusion se. She's ok and it wasn't her fault but man I love this car. I used to love my se but it's like they took the se gave it some balls and a makeover and handed it back to me. Also I got a little surprise when reading the manual. The dealer had assured me if I wanted remote start it would be 500 more and I didn't really needed it so we decided against it, then when I opened the manual booklet two remotes dropped out that are the remote start buttons. I called the dealer to see if I had been charged for it and they said no but we appreciate your business merry christmas. Lol this is the red mccombs in San Antonio Texas I have bought all my cars (6) brand new from the same salesman at this dealer I guess it was his way of thanking me. Anyways Any suggestions or tips for my new car I'll post pics later I'm at work right now. Car is all stock for now except for rims. Thanks everyone for sharing in my newfound joy!!

Thank you so much redsvt2001 it was a minor annoyance having to restart the car every time the door opened and I don't know why but a little embarrassing. Lol I was walking to my car that I had remote started and a guy nearby heard it start and started looking at it I waved at him and he said that's cool. Then I opened the door and killed the engine and he said is it supposed to do that. I just nodded and got in and restarted. Now my sport is perfect though.
