  1. Thanks alot everyone! It was just a thought. Guess I will have to buy a new car now just for the navigation, lol!
  2. I have been wanting to add a factory Ford navigation to my 2011 Sport. I asked the parts department at my dealership and they told me that 2010 was the last year they did it. Is this true? He said there was alot changed behind the dash and there was no way to do it. He was just relaying the message from his supplier. I walked over to the 2012 Fusion Hybrid on the showroom floor and looky there it had navigation in it... Did they stop navigation only in the Sport model? I dont want aftermarket...i dont wanna lose the SYNC system and all the control features.
  3. Here are some shots before I started the makeover. In these shots you will see how my rims looked when the arrived from Hipnotic and the tires premounted. Just gives you a better perspective. I bought all new TPMS sensors for these wheels as well. They are very pricey but I wanted it done right. Plus, now I have two sets of wheels to run without worry of a code popping up. I am toying with the idea of throwing some street/drag radials on the stock front rims. Just to see what 1/4 mile times this can get. I know it isn't a racecar but it would take away the guessing what it runs. I want the CAI/Tuner first...
  4. Did the Steeda lowering springs, added the Steeda strut tower bar and wow what a difference. The car handles great with the stock 18's and handles just as good if not better on my 20's. However, I went the "looks" route with the rims. My oh my these are a heavy wheel combo!!! At least 12lbs heavier than stock... The wheels are 20x8.5 "Hipnotic C-Notes". I had the removable inserts (40pcs) painted to match my Sport (White Platinum). I have them wrapped in the newest tire available from Nitto called the "Motivo" (245/35R20). Awesome tires...they are an all season tire with a 60k treadlife warranty. A quiet ride with plenty of grip. I live in Florida so the roads here are hot as f@*k or wet as f@*k
  5. My "stalling" problem is in a league of its own. From what I remember...both occasions were on an incline. The first I was at 1/4 throttle maybe 3rd gear taveling up a bridge when the car just cut out! The engine was still running but unresponsive. I pumped the gas pedal multiple times and got no response! I pulled over to the emergency lane, parked the car, turned it off, and waited a few seconds. I restarted it, rev'd it up a couple of times put it in gear and it drove off like nothing happened. The second time i was rolling up an incline to a stop sign, made my half ass stop because no one was coming and pulled out to be on my way only to find the exact same problem. It cut out, still running, no response, I shifted to neutral so I could coast to a side road. Parked it, shut it off, restarted it and drove off like nothing happened again. Both times the engine stays at idle, nothing flickers, chimes or lights up. The a/c is still ice cold and the radio is still jaming out. Could this be a transmission shift problem causing a safety override on the throttle?
  6. Does this make a real difference? Just wondering if it was worth spending $100...
  7. The Part number for the 4" Tip is #35124 Like I said in my earlier post...if you go to a good mufller shop, those guys should know the part numbers by heart, lol! The tip dimensions are 4" O.D.x2.25 inlet dia.x4.5"L
  8. You can always add dynamat to the trunk floor area as well.
  9. Im digging your engine cover mod!!! Hope you dont mind if copy you, lol. I plan on doing mine in white platinum.
  10. It is stock piping from the cat back to the "Y" and from there it is sleeved over and bent tubing to Magnaflow pancake style mufflers. My Magnaflow tips cost more than the mufflers did, lol!
  11. It sounds pretty good for a V6. It purrs lightly at idle and has a pretty distinct low rumble under load and shifting through the lower gears. But she really comes alive when you floor it for off the line or for passing. Doesn't even sound like the same car in my opinion. Interior noise is just right...you hear a rumble but it doesn't carry that drone tone that can wear you down. I love the sound of a V-8 much more but Im pretty happy with this setup and would reccomend it to any Sport owner!!! I get compliments on it damn near everyday. Fusion lovers seem to pick it out right away when they see it so its nice to get the respect these cars earned and deserve. Video you say? I have one but it doesnt really do it justice...I will work on a better one using my Go Pro when it isnt raining.
  12. These are some pics of my exhaust. I dug for part numbers off of Magnaflows website and went to a highly recommended local muffler shop. There was not an absolute need for the full catback because the pipe outer diameter is only a 1/4'' larger. This can save you up to $350 by just getting the "pancake" style mufflers, 4" tips and having a shop fill in the blanks and weld it all up. That kit they sell on Magnaflow is "bolt on"...not that it is bad but if you dont know what you are doing with the fit up...you can get leaks. My guy even sprayed it with high temp for the finishing touches! Price... a mere $360 cash money! An insane price if you ask me!!! Here are the pics for proof that it is a pure quality job for a low price. Yes that still exisists!!!
  13. Ok...so I read some other posts and found the answer to my "mystery windows", Its an option I didn't know I had. However, I don't recall holding the unlock button to engage this function. I will just be more cautious from now on. The gas pedal issue has not come around since that one time but still has been unanswered.
