well there are 2 different piece of weather stripping on my car, an outside piece which you can see when the door is closed and this piece does get warped because of where the roof rack sits, i do not know if it is warped permanently because I havent taken off my rack since i put it on. But the inside piece of weather stripping should be fine and a roof rack shouldnt cause any problems. If you have a website where you read that could you post the link i would like to read it. I have the same car only with 80k miles, and you will fall in love with the car. At first I wasnt a big fan of the car, but over time it just grew on me. It runs great and supprisingly enough the performance isnt that bad for a mid size car. Let me know what you think of it, i am always looking for other peoples opinions.

What you have to do is order the navigation dash kit right from ford, that way you wont have to worry about what pattern you have in you car. the only thing is that you will end up paying a decent price. But honestly its the best way to go, this way if there is a problem with the part you can always bitch to ford, but you cant bitch to some company that doesnt even speak english! good luck

What about the settings on the amp have you messed around with them yet?

You sure the amp is what was fryed? If no sound is coming out there could be something wrong with the sub-connection, and if you got the amp to turn on it shouldnt be the ground wire, unless you replaced everything with the wrong gauge wire? Kinda need some more information to help you out there lol

Honestly a roof rack is the best way to go, i got one for my 2009 fusion and it looks and works great. But since i worked in a bike shop for years the only brand of roof racks i trust are thule, you pay a high price but its totally worth it in the end. and trust me trunk racks can be just as annoying to take off and put on.

I am looking to install Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD, but i am having a hard time fidinig a decent dash kit and wiring harness. I have a 2009 with out sync if anyone has any suggestions that would be awesome. Also if you know a good place to get sub boxes that would be cool too .
