http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/index.php/catalog/product/view/id/3300/s/2006-2012-ford-fusion-front-turn-signal-leds/category/544/ I used the resistor kit they provided and installed as directed -- not entirely sure what you mean. There is a resistor on each side, there are three(3) wires coming out, tapped into 2 of them. Can check the colors if I need to but was advised by a Ford tech as to which to splice in to. Just a quick self tap splice, solder might be the better option but I want to make sure that's the problem and not just a bad circuit board. Not my area of expertise by any means so any help is greatly appreciated.

I bought switchback bulbs from DiodeDynamics a while back and installed them with resistors. Everything worked fine or so I thought until a couple months ago -- sometimes one side won't fire until you hit the turn signal and then it stays steady on. They are White/Amber...white is the one that doesn't always operate as it should, side doesn't really stay consistent although driver side is usually the culprit. Is this a bad bulb problem? I don't really know where to start so thought I'd look here. Found topics close to this but didn't really cover what I'm after. Thanks Forgot to mention that they operate perfectly once you hit the flasher once. Only fail to fire when the lights are turned on for the first time.

I did this today to turn MyKey off (only option I changed) and now on startup with remote start I get 3 chirps -- after the initial chirp to indicate you pressed remote, and then nothing. Manual says it means a door is open but all doors were opened and closed, trunk/hood got same treatment, and dome lights still dim like normal. Any advice on this? Dealer tech was stumped.

Do you have any pics of this? Considering doing this instead of doing HID in fogs -- what temp/wattage did you use in HID's? And do the PIAA's match that fairly closely? -
I'm saying I'll gladly put it next to another Fusion at night and blur everything but lamps and brakes and you tell me the difference. Anything you add on top of the lens will of course reduce visibility, no disputing that. Only saying it's negligible at worst and legal in SC. The reflectors shine through as if nothing is blocking it, hell even the vinyl shines when light is applied. I'm not an employee of Lamin-X so I won't go to bat any more than I have for their product. As far as legality is concerned, it is and has been confirmed by local PD before and after I bought the vinyl (roommate is law enforcement). Visibility is of course reduced but I have yet to have any issues in normal conditions.

Safety as in how? Not being able to see the brake lights? You can see them as if there was nothing covering them, one of the reasons I picked the vinyl over the sprays. In SC they only care about brake lights during the day -- even the stock '13 mustangs have their lights tinted darker than mine but as long as you can see reflectors under direct light and running lights are visible at night you're fine. I'll agree that having it sprayed so that reflectors are no longer visible, brakes are dim, and running lights are barely visible is silly but this simply doesn't do that.

This is the same tint, direct sunlight. I can do night pics if you want -- used to use VHT but definitely prefer these.

Tried to do a search and it came up with nothing -- looking to repaint my chrome window molding to black and don't really know what I'm getting into. As far as paint, a friend suggested Dupli Color "Shadow" -- will keep the chrome look but make it a lot darker. Anyone ever used this? If I like it the next step would be using it on the fog light/front grille trim to finish blacking out the car. Any suggestions appreciated...not sure I even know how to remove the molding but it shouldn't be more than a few screws. Thanks
