  1. My son's 2010 Focus was 2.5 yrs old, so the 3 yr warranty is almost up. Since he's off to college, we looked around a larger/safer car for our daughter. With the 2013 coming in soon, Ford dealers were giving great discounts on 2012's. So we traded in the Focus for almost the same price as we bought it for, & picked up a new 2012 Fusion SEL for almost $8000 off MSRP. So Yes, we bought because of great pricing. Only paying $80 / month more for 2.5 extra yrs for a brand new fully loaded Fusion w/ a brand new warranty, new tires, new everything. So bigger & safer car, with great gas mileage for our daughter.
  2. Along with CCL license. So how do you prevent firearm from banging around in there ? & where do you install the shotgun rack?

    SYNC Update

Has anyone done a SYNC Update for their car yet? http://www.syncmyride.com I just downloaded the update files from above SYNC site onto my USB. Just wondering if I even need to do/worthwhile to do the SYNC update... Thanks,
  4. Agreed. Not sure if we'll ever put anything in there. Wonder what the designers were thinking...?
  5. We still haven't stored anything on the top middle dashboard storage box yet. Seems like a very odd place for a storage box. So just curious, what items do you store there?
  6. Your hard drive is too FAT!!! Why do you need 320 Gb hooked up for? I plugged in this 32 Gb USB: http://www.amazon.com/Lexar-32Gb-Echo-Backup-Drive/dp/B004X6SY2S/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1342259881&sr=8-5&keywords=lexar+32gb+usb It's small. Was around $50. Only sticks out a half inch, so won't get in the way of anything else in the box. Holds all my music files easily.
  7. All the Houston area Ricers go to Rice University's tuning dept....
  8. Does the cross traffic alert sound when the garage door is closing / coming down?
  9. I'm pretty sure the engineers/designers at Ford would design a smaller, more discreet antenna fin if they thought it would do a decent job. Just looking at the pic above with the 2.5 inch stub vs the big long ugly 9 inch factory one with the veiny wire looping around it, this factory one gotta work alot better than the 2.5 inch stub. Anyways, when driving from inside the car, I can't even see that big long ugly stick anyways... & definitely don't wanna lose signal if I need to make an emergency call...
  10. ObamaCare will not allow you to disable the DING-DING noise. In fact, if you don't buckle up immediately, it will actually gets louder & louder if you ignore it, & SYNC will automatically calls the IRS to report you & you will be fined, taxed & arrested. You are not smart enough nor rich enough to do this yourself & you may hurt yourself. It's for the public good...
  11. Cool. Thanks for the replies. That flip key looks pretty neat. btw, what's that extra 2nd remote for?
  12. Hi. We had a 2010 Ford Focus & had lost one set of keys. So with only one set left, dealer would charge over $150 to program a new key. We traded in that Focus for a 2012 Fusion. Now that we have 2 sets of keys, wanted to buy a third as a cheap spare, just in case. Saw this on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Ford-Lincoln-Mercury-4-Button-Remote-Head-Key-Keyless-Entry-Key-Fob-80-Bit-/320923997885?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2012%7CMake%3AFord%7CModel%3AFusion&hash=item4ab88f96bd&vxp=mtr#ht_1597wt_952 Looks like $27 is pretty cheap for spare. So just wondering that once we buy this, just bring it to Lowe's (or any key place) to copy? then program it like in manual? Thoughts?
