Hmm. I had a similar problem which I thought was coming from the dash (in the area of the emergency flasher button), but it was actually coming from the rearview mirror assembly (like between the mirror itself and the casing around it). Does it happen when you go over bumps or during the engine vibration or revving? I had them try to fix mine, but it's still there. I hear it when I tap the bottom of the rearview mirror. I have an Energi, so this is only noticeable when I go over bumps or the engine is running.

I've never used the outlet, but I'm doing an event on National Plug In Day (www.bit.ly/pluginday) and I want to plug a small amp into the 110 outlet. Do I have to have the car running? Will gas be used if I need more power?
