  1. Thank you for the quick reply. By left side I assume you mean the drivers side?
  2. I have a 2013 Fusion that is experiencing intermittent windshield wiper issues. At times they with “shake” or “pulse” in the down position without the wipers turned on. Now at times when turning them on the drivers side will go up and then stop midway up the windshield and the passenger side won’t move at all. After a while it goes back down and then they work perfectly fine. Any suggestions? Is there a module that controls this that could be faulty? Thanks for any suggestions!
  3. Thanks for the quick responses. It just clicks when attempting to start. I was also thinking the battery but it is not consistent and does not coincide with any unintentional battery drain either. Also, I can use a starter to jump it, shut it off right away so there is no opportunity for the battery to charge and it will start up just fine with no issues for months.
  4. My 2013 Fusion is having intermittent electrical issues. For no reason it won’t start at times despite no lights left on or doors left open. I’ve had the battery and charging system tested and it is fine. I jump it and then it is good to go with no issues. It happened this morning and then the fuel gauge showed empty. After driving for 5 minutes the gauge went up to 1/4 full and the gas light went off. Recently the wipers have also started “twitching” when driving when the wipers are not even turned on. I seem to have some kind of electrical poltergeist! Anyone else experience this or have any suggestions? Thanks in advanced.
  5. Thanks for the advice, I will get to work on the throttle body. I just replaced the battery, still had the original up until this week!
  6. This happens with and without the AC or defrost and the check engine light is not on.
  7. Update: my normal idle is around 700, it is dropping to 400-500.
  8. I have a 2006 Fusion 4 cylinder automatic transmission. At stop lights/signs my idle will drop well below 1000 rpm which causes the engine to nearly stall, thankfully it has not yet. It cycles between the low idle and normal idle until I accelerate from the stop. It cycles about every 10-15 seconds with the low idle lasting only about 5 seconds. It does not do this if I shift into park, only when stationary with it in drive. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
