2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium keeps shutting down.

Same problem with my 2013. New battery fixed everything. -
Upgrading 2016 Fusion Hybrid NAV system
hermans replied to kevmeist's topic in Audio, Navigation & SYNC
About the map updates. I've compared the A4 to A7 and I can't find where any of the areas I travel, Ohio, Michigan and PA have been updated. I even submitted (in 2013) map updates to the site Ford sends you to and.....still no updates. I won't be buying anymore updates for My Ford Touch systems. I also have a car with Sync 3 and the map still isn't updated. I wouldn't waste your money on buying them. BTW...$150 is ridiculous, I bought 2 A7 cards on ebay for $50/each. -
Window Tint and Headlamp Change
hermans replied to ebradley's topic in Glass, Headlights, Fog lamps, Lenses & Window Tint
And then you run the risk of being pulled over and the officer measuring your tint and being ticketed.....I did and I lost. But then (quoting Clint) "Do you feel lucky? Well do you ......" -
225/55 R17 in Place of 225/50 R17 on 2010 Fusion Hybrid
hermans replied to mjsmithsbcld57's topic in Wheels & Tires
I had a set of those on my 2010. The tread wear was terrible and they were rotated every 5,000k and had to be replaced at 25k and that was with old man driving.- 3 replies

Fuel tank recall concern
hermans replied to charlesNKY's topic in Maintenance, Recalls and TSB (Technical Service Bulletins)
There has to be more to this. My 2010 Fusion had the fuel tank recall done. I dropped it off at the dealer in the morning and picked it up that afternoon. What interaction have you had with the dealer? -
You didn't mention pressing the lock button on the FOB within 3 seconds after hearing the beep. You have to do that to set the memory with the FOB. Yes, it's a single beep.

They all do. The site is set up that way.

Want an ESP, any Forum Dealers offering deals??
hermans replied to Gun_Oil's topic in Buying, Leasing & Ordering
I asked my dealer to match and he said he couldn't. I said how unfortunate for you. His jaw dropped. -
Want an ESP, any Forum Dealers offering deals??
hermans replied to Gun_Oil's topic in Buying, Leasing & Ordering
I bought an ESP through Flood as I plan on keeping the Edge for a long time. It was $700 cheaper than what the dealer wanted for the same policy. -
looking to buy, what to watch out for
hermans replied to scha0786's topic in Buying, Leasing & Ordering
I had a Pontiac Turnpike Cruiser with push button transmission on the left side. Funny how things go full circle. -
Check to see if there are any recalls on it. Early 2103's had some issues that were covered by recalls. I had a 2013 FFH with all the bells and whistles and it was just fine. I currently own a 2013 MKZh (the same drive train as the FFH and no issues. I sold the FFH privately and the new owner loves it. He lives in my neighborhood and has had 0 issues since he's owned it.

The forum isn't dead, but this thread appears to be.

Eye glass cleaner and a eye glass cleaning towel from the eye doctors office. I keep it in the sunglass holder.

The subscription to ALLDATAdiy is $26/year. The $16. is for each additional vehicle after you pay for the 1 year subscription. There is no subscription for just one month with them.

You can't get Chilton DIY for just one day, but it is only $14.99 for the month.

I read in the owner's manual where it recommends using 64 gig thumbdrive or lower. I habe all my music on three drives and just change them between cars.

I've had 5 vehicles with MFT/MLT and have had zero issues. I also have a 2016 with Sync 3 and I've had to reboot it several times. This vehicle has 600 miles on it and I'm going to have the dealer take a look at it.

I rented a Fiat ( it was pretty much the pick of the litter) and drove 750 miles round trip. Pretty much the lowlight of my 52 year driving career.
