  1. I use this one....http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OEM-Ford-TPMS-Sensor-Training-Tool-Tire-Pressure-Programming-Activation-/271293210456
  2. You can do it if you have the right programer. http://www.ebay.com/bhp/tpms-sensor-tool
  3. Tire Rack has steel wheels for the Fusion in 16-17-18 inch sizes.
  4. I did once in my 2010. I wasn't paying attention and was trying to get a diesel nozzle in.
  5. I bought a winter tire/wheel package. Blizzak snow tires - 225/55/17 vs the 225/50/17 it came with.
  6. Not a bad idea. My 2010 Fusion PS rack kept failing. The dealer couldn't find any codes. For awhile if I started it up a few times, after a failure, the PS would come back for awhile. After the last episode I was about two blocks from the dealer and drove it into their parking lot, left it running. That said yep it's broke. A factory rep came and looked at the car and authorized a new PS rack and a new computer. They could never find what caused it. No issues after that. This was just one of many many issues with the car. I got rid of it.
  7. I had a set of Altimax RTs on my 2010 Fusion. They were flat out terrible and I had- HAD to replace then at about 28,000 miles as they would not pass state inspection. There was 1/32 tread left, and that was across the entire tire width. I bought them new and rotated them every 5,000 miles at every oil change. I would never buy another set. As for the 225-55-17 tire - I just bought a set of Firestone Blizzaks in that size for my 2013 Fusion. BTW the OE Michelin Energy Saver A/S in 235-50-17 at $112,00 each at Tire Rack now.
  8. Those stupid deer should learn to cross at the "deer crossing" sign. This is classic and I just scream with laughter everytime I hear it.
  9. I have found that it is better to finance the car rather than paying cash. If you pay cash up front the dealer doesn't get their kickback from the finance company - whether or not it's through Ford or bank. The dealer has less cushion to work with. I tend to finance and then pay it off immediately. But then that is just my experience.
  10. Nope - no obstruction at all. The update yesterday at the dealer fixed it.....for now.
  11. My 2013 FFH is at the dealer not being reprogramed for the third time. My one-touch isn't working and when you press the button to close the drivers window it automatically goes down when you reach the top. Fun times at the car wash. Since this is the third reprogram, the tech is contacting Ford to see if they have any suggestions. I think there is an issue particullar to this car, as my 2013 MKZh have never had a window problem from day one. I've reset the windows many times only to only have the issue return after a few days.
  12. My wife is also 5-1 and it worked for her. I don't know what else to tell you.
  13. Raise the headrest a little. Still full protection and no neck strain. Try it - it works.
  14. I had it happen on my 2013 FFH on the PA Turnpike. No puncture....sidewall just blew out. Michelin paid for a new tire...eventually $200.
  15. I got one today also. I never had the optional heavy duty mats. I put Weathertechs right after I got home from the dealer.
  16. The dealer should be able to help you. It takes all of 30 seconds to put it in the computer. My dealer was very helpful in tracking both my cars.
  17. I have a Ford remote starter in my FFH. It was installed by the dealer after I took delivery and I have the remote starter options in the left screen. I have the factory installed remore starter on my MKZh and the options are the same on both vehicles. Don't know what else to tell you.
  18. Yes the SE 2.0 EcoBoost comes with dual exhaust.
  19. Does it interfer with adaptive cruse control?
  20. ETIS always shows the Transit. The site is good to determine when your car was build. A few days after it shows the car/truck has been built it will show the build features. ETIS dows not provide any tracking information. ETIS shows VIN 3FA6P0LU6ER363856 was built 5/17/2014.
  21. Hope that's it. My car didn't code either, But they knew immediately what it was. The problem is I asked them if there were any updates that needed to be done before I took delivery (6/2009) and they said no. This was a very early model with a very low VIN.
  22. Happened to me several times within two days of me picking it up my 2010 from the dealer. Mine only did it while turning right. The dealer applied a TSB that was out specifically for that problem at the time. Never had the issue the rest of the time I owned the car.
  23. I had a set of those on a 2010 Ford Fusion I used to own. I had them rotated at every oil change. They were the worst set of tires I ever owned. At 26,000 miles they would not pass inspection. They wore even, but they wore to the nubs. Much of my driving, at that time, was interstate and turnpike. My driving style is very easy so I know it wasn't me. I would stay away from them. When I gave the car to a relative I put a new set of Tiger Paw Touring tires on the car.
