  1. Update. Issue was not solved. Here is what the dealer tried. New throttle body Alignment Wheel balance New injectors Checked all air dams and deflectors New plugs Lots of computer resets and updates On my last dropoff to have it checked I got an identical 2012 fusion for a rental from enterprisel. Guess what?? It did the same thing. I have personally written the issues off as a ford design mess up. This will be my last ford car. If anyone ever finds a solution please post findings.
  2. Another update. Car has been in the shop for a full week this time. Service manager took car for test drive after wheel re-balance on day 1 and kept it 6 more days. I am picking it up today with their statement that a ford service engineer tech will be called in to check the issue as they could not find anything in their shop. On a side note. I was told the car may be operating within ford design tolarances... Does bucking/pulsating at a range of highway speeds souns like acceptable tolarance to anyone? I'll keep updating this untill a resolve is made or I give up....
  3. I have a 2012 V6 FWD, Hwy is 32mpg at 65mph constsnt. More realistically 24 mpg at 70-80mph. If you look at the difference 10mph makes in mpg's yours dosent seem far off if you tend to drive faster....
  4. It is FWD not AWD. I spoke with the service manager and he will be taking it in for the 3rd time next week. I will post if there is a resolve or not when I get it back from the shop. Untill then thanks for the comments and have a Happy New Year....
  5. Hello All, I wanted to see if anyone has ad similiar expierience. I have just purchased a 2012 Fusion SEL V6 with 20k miles on it. I have noticed that when driving at a constant higjhway speed of 70mph (+-5mph) I get a constant slight bucking feeling. I have sent it to the shop twice and service manager says he felt it as well but the techs could find nothing wrong. Tires have been rebalanced, alignment is good, no error codes, shifts perfectly during acceleration and engins seems smooth. Fuel economy is at 25mpg, which with my heavy foot is ok. Any Help or people who have run into this please let me know as it is getting annoying. Thanks
