  1. I could call it a stupid question, but it seems like a good idea to me... Recently Ive come across A LOT of info about HID lights and kits, and most recently info about retrofitting. The idea I had come to mind was attempting to retrofit the fog lights so that they were HID, as well as fitting them with halos. I cant seem to find any information from anywhere that anyone has done anything similar to this to a 2010-2012 Fusion, but my main concerns are: 1. If the retrofit kit would fit in the same hole where the current projector is (What size? I was thinking of the morimoto mini stage 3 kit, using the mini graphite shroud and white xb halos) 2. If the new projector would be able to be exposed like the current halogen projector is, or if it has to be sealed in a housing like a headlight? Here's a link to the kit: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?products_id=227 I know its a long shot, but any advice or insight would be really helpful, because if its possible (and within reason) Im more than likely going to try and attempt it. Thanks!
  2. Hey everyone, this past September I had the privelege of purchasing a new to me 2011 Ford Fusion SEL. When it first came out I was definitely in love with it, but I never expected to be able to get one as soon as I did. Unfortunately my last car (1993 Eagle Vision Tsi) had the transmission go out at 46,000 miles(not a typo), which forced my hand into getting a new vehicle, little did I expect this to even be an option for me. I was happy about getting my parents 2001 Jeep Cherokee, then this opportunity came along... But enough sappy backstory, this car is great! It has leather heated seats, heated mirrors, SYNC, steering wheel controls, pretty much everything but a sunroof, NAV, and a spoiler. Its a 4 cylinder car, which is great for gas, but its not as athletic as a 3.0L I tested out. The main reason I joined the forum is to figure out ways to better the performance and appearance of my Fusion, which I've affectionately named "The Predator". Through roaming the site I already plan on: Changing the headlights to HID LED Puddle Lights, Turn signals, Reverse Lights, License Plate Changing the lower turn signal to a clear lens instead of amber Adding a Spoiler Stripping the stock sound system and adding in all new aftermarket products Maybe Plastidip Grill and Tail lights (Smoke color) Ive attached a couple pictures, and Im open to any advice, insight or ideas about how to improve my Fusion. Im mechanically inclined to a certain extent, Im not so great with electrical (working on it)and my experience with a rattle can is pretty good thus far; so most of the work I plan on doing will be performed by yours truly. I look forward to learning as much as possible, Thanks
