DOH - corrected! I would love to see a 2.3L in a Fusion ST, but I thought that only the Lincoln MKC was getting it. . .than I read that the Mustang was too. I did miss that. Thanks for point that out. Is the Fusion prime for an ST version or is Ford Racing/SVT tapped out with too many projects? We have a new-generation F150 coming - will there be a new Raptor? How about the upcoming Mustang? Mach1, Shelby, SVO?

Test drive the 1.6L EcoBoost with the manual transmission (only found on the 1.6L) and you'll fall in love with it. If you're not in manuals, the 2.0L EcoBoost is the ticket.

I love the FRAP plant and we've toured it many times with Shelby American. I know that Carroll Shelby was there twice too. At any rate, you're right that people wish to buy American made cars more and more as the quality has improved so much. Your question isn't the first one that I have seen or read on this forum or others too.

In case you missed the introduction of the KIA K900, it's 5.0L DOHC, all aluminum, direct injection 420 horsepower engine mated an an eight speed transmission. It sits on a 119.9" wheelbase, offering wheel rear drive performance. Not to mention that it looks pretty nice too. I'd love to see a Fusion ST do battle against something like this: Give me an AWD Fusion EcoBoost, please!

Bottom ones would look great on the Fusion.

Be careful on the drilled rotors as they can be prone to cracking on street applications.

I wonder how many Fusions with the 1.6L with six speed manuals were made. That would be a really great driving setup.

I second the motion on EcoBoost parts for mods!

The 1.6L is getting more power and losing start/stop (I think). The 1.5L will enable the Fusion to achieve even better MPGs.

Congrats on your Fusion EB. What are thoughts so far? What did you have before your Fusion?

The mileage is supposed to be best in the spring/summer (warmer months). It will be interesting to compare since you have the mileage to have broken it in.
