I have the fusion titanium with the driver assist package and the ACC. I am very satisfied with it so far, although there is definitely some room for improvement.
A few things i like about it:
- takes most of the stress out of congested driving
-easy to engage/disengage
-displays that is sees the car infront of you
A few things i dislike:
-brakes and accellerates rapidly
-disengages around 10 mph (wish it had the queue assist feature like the volvos)
Anyone elses like/dislikes? Questions?
I like to say going from a car that has this to back to a car that doesnt is like going from a smartphone back to a flip phone. Having said that, It works best in environments without stoplights and over 40 mph but as you start to use it more often, it works with you to optimize your trip. This option is about 1k (only offered with titanium) but I added this feature to a bmw I priced out and it was three times as much and similar in other luxury brands.
