  1. Hi, I have a 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium and am looking to hard wire in my Escort 9500ix detector. I understand the options to wire it in are: (a) use an add-a-fuse kit or a fuse tap kit and tap into an existing fuse for an ignition-switched item ( use a wire-splice kit to tap into a wire I'd like to use option B and tap into an existing wire in the center console, around the headunit, MyFord Touch. I am having trouble finding a good wire to use! Any advice? I'd prefer to not use the auto-dimming mirror as then I would have to run a wire around the trim, down the pillar and to the center. Thanks for your help!
  2. Well this was pretty much all highway, i filled up before leaving, and filled up once i got home, 190 miles on the highway later....
  3. Ill give it some more time....hoping it goes up to where it should be! Goodburbon, you're only seeing 24 mpg avg?!
  4. I was doing about 65-70mph as well. I drove 200 miles, mainly all highway. Was your 30mpg on a new car or after the "break in"? I'm hoping it increases!
  5. I just bought a 2013 Fusion Titanium AWD, 2.0 L Eco boost. Love the car, but i have been seeing really low mileage. I just crossed the 1000 mile mark and have yet to break 23mpg on the highway (actual mileage based on filling up the car). Is there a break in period? My friend has a 2013 Escape with the same engine, larger and heavier car, and is seeing around 30 highway mpg. Any words of advice? Thanks!
