akirby, How do you run the subs off the rear speakers? I want a quick and easy setup and, I know it's probably better if I don't but, I want to keep the factory head unit just cause its built in and buying the adapter and all that makes it look cheap. I am thinking there is something I am missing or read wrong. Please let me know, thanks.

I have a 2007 Fusion SE, so as far as I know I have a 1 CD changer and no Sync. Not sure what caused any of these problems but sounds like they have some bugs to work out. Oh well I will keep an ear on it and if it happens again I will bring it in. As for CD skipping I have not had a problem with skipping, but sometimes I put a CD in and it says 'bad disk' and ejects, I put it right back in and it works fine, but some of my CD's are a bit scratched up I am sure that does not help.

Hey, the other day I put a CD in and it spit it back out saying bad CD, it had worked before so I put the CD back in and it played fine, but once that happened I could not change the volume up or down. After my drive I parked the car, the next time I went for a drive it worked fine and has been working for the last couple days, any one else had this problem? I was going to take it in to get fixed but now it’s working, anyone else had any similar issues, and did they come back? I am trying to decide if I want to take it in to get replaced or if I should just leave it for now.

It's pretty basic, I bought used so did not have many choices. 6 speed auto, SE aluminum rims, unfortunately it came with the Camel Cloth interior (my least favorite of the colours but the price was right), no spoiler :-( but of all the cars in my price range I think it was the best buy. I drove a black 08 with the spolier and Charcoal Black cloth but it was $9,000 more than the used 07 and could not justify it for that price difference.

Anyone looked into changing the climate control knobs on an 07 Fusion? One of the things I really dont like about the interior are the climate control knobs, they are the same as on my 98 escort. I would like to get the more stylish knobs like on the Avenger I test drove (was going to post pic here but I dont have an image that is not have a copyright) I don't get my my fusion until tomorrow and want to start the mods already.

Just purchased an 07 Fusion SE V6 today, will take possession in 2 days, will post pics once I get it, merlot metallic love the colour. I got lot's of ideas from the ford escort forum, looking forward to Fusion mods on this site.
