6 months ago, about a year after I bought my 2013 Fusion hybrid, the voice button would not engage (it did not ring and the functions like climate, radio, phone, services could not be accessed); the problem was occasional and then more frequent. The dealer replaced a control module for this function after which the voice button worked for a week and then became erratic as before. I took it in again yesterday, and they cannot find any error codes so they reinstalled the software on this feature. The voice button worked twice but failed once yesterday and again today. The dealer doesn't seem to have other ideas and claims this problem has not occurred on other cars it services. While I don't need voice-activated commands often, when I do need them I can't assume they'll be available. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and how it's been resolved, if it has.
