  1. Bought a 2014 for my wife and she fawned all over it. When the dealership called 3 years later to upgrade, I sayed "Hell YEAH" however none of the 2017's had the usual side mirror signal lights, OR the unique signal cancel system on the stalk. I was pretty bummed, but I soon got over it, and just got used to missing stuff I always end up liking. Life's like that...
  2. Battened down for the winter, and had the dealership re set me up with some nice Michelin x Ices, and the standard black winter wheel. Looks like they have gotten us through to the new season, because, as I glance at the calendar, YUP...6 months of winter have just vacated the building, and we are in dire need of some real warm climes! But first to off with the cold, and on with the warm--rubber, that is!!
  3. Traded a 2004 Sebring..which I got much better mileage on..believe it or not!!
  4. Got one ages ago, and just filed it in my Ford "watch" list folder.. hopefully nothing ever comes of it, but it's there .
  5. I received one a while back, and filed it in my "Ford file"..hopefully if anything ever comes of it, I recall that it is there!
  6. Does anybody know if these "TSB'S" are effective in Canada as well? We have been having the same issue with our 2.5 Fusion since we purchased it in July, but are tentative about mentioning it to the dealer. Should we be? Seems strange that after filling out DTE would only be 510 km.
  7. Yes hers is mostly city, and being Toronto, it's either winter, or construction on the roads..there's never an even break!!
  8. Surprised you don't have a light in your glove box...ours is a 2013 SE, and it was one of the first things I noticed it having!!
  9. I would have to speak to the actual driver, although I can say she is a bit of a lead foot--( I never said that out loud!!!) You see, it's not me driving, just me doing the math on the mileage after fill-ups. I know that the trips made are generally short--- 10 to 12 miles in each direction, mostly in fairly stop and go traffic. We made a trip out of town last weekend, about 100 miles each way, and never really saw any improvement in the mileage department. If I have to say, "it is what is", I will, but was hoping for a bit better mileage than my last Sebring 2.7L was getting me.

  11. My (my wife's) 2013 Sterling Fusion SE is as beautiful a car as she could want. The Aston Martin grill is a real eye-catcher, and the lines are as nice as you could want. It's a 2.5L with MFT. We haven`t used the AC much, if at all (we are in Canada, so AC being on is a real rare occasion) Our first new car purchase in 10 years, and we were completely taken off guard by all the computerized "bling" available...pretty large learning curve for a couple of "dinosaurs" straight out of the stone age. All in all, except for a couple minor (since fixed) complaints, I would have to say my biggest gripe right now is the fact that this puppy is getting, on average, a measly 20mpg-and that seems to be the average so far-. I'm keeping track on the feully app, and there seems to be no improvement to date, and I guess my concern or question to this group, would be, is there improvement down the road (no pun intended), or is this as good as it gets?
  12. I thank you both then. I can sleep better knowing I have learned something today, and that, in the end, changing both will be safer for the only person driving this vehicle-and considering that person is my wife, I'll feel safer for her and for the passengers she will be hauling around-which will include myself!!
  13. Thanks for confirming that..wasn't sure if they needed to be exact or not. My new service/parts manager said that they(the tires) could be put on their own 16" rims, but would cause a speedometer displacement of 8-10%, so it looks like I'm headed for new tires and rims. Anybody need a set?
