  1. I would think, if it did work like a phone, the phone cuts in for a call, and pauses the music. Once the call is over, the music continues.... Most of the NAV units today have built in Mp3 players. It would be nice if I could use my 40gig of music while using my portable NAV.... I often drive without music or sound of any kind. I feel it is important to listen to your "CAR". It can tell you many things. I have seen people driving around town with their stereo's blaring, and their motor reving in first gear at 45mph. Or clanking like it were gong to blow up..... I like to listen for odd noises. I don't expect it on my new car, but you never know, or I should say you would never know.....
  2. I am thinking of getting a portable GPS unit, since I don't have "NAV" Sync. I have SYNC, and I noticed when I was checking out some of the units that some come with BLUETOOTH. Does anyone here know how well it works with SYNC. Can you play the audio via bluetooth, or is that just for from Phone to GPS unit for handsfree? I would like to know before I get it. I am not sure it would be worth the extra doe, if it doesn't work with SYNC.... It may prove handy for other things though.... I just thought it would be a nice feature if it worked with SYNC, and would be really nice if it worked well enough that when I am playing music and a direction prompt came up, it would connect Via BT and mute the music and say "turn left on Michigan AVE, 100 yards" etc.... ANYBODY have a portable GPS with Bluetooth, PLEASE pipe in!!!!! I need to know soon!!!
  3. So, what are the wheel sizes and tire dimentions? I am looking at getting some 19"x 8.5 for the front and 19" 9.5 for the rear both with +35 offset. Not sure what tire combo's to go with it. Need some help here..... Thanks....
  4. It is called sound imaging. In which I would have to agree that the rear is lacking. I don't have the MKZ, but I wouldhave to say that the Fusions and the Milans have the same dilemma. I would think if you could find a coax speaker with the same OHM and wattage ratings that is also a good speaker, the one speaker wouldn't hert. It may be worth a try.....
  5. I am mistaken on the 18" wheels. I was thinking that they were 18, but they are 17". Still debating whether I want to get the springs or just get the shocks, struts and sway bar, and get some lowering springs... I don't want it to low though.... An 1.4" drop seems a bit to much to me.... I want a lower stance but if I go to low, I'll be draggin every time I leave my work.... With a 1.4" drop, I will definatly have to go with some taller wheels and tires to compensate....
  6. Thanks for the reply.... I didn't know if anyone saw my question. I have 18" wheels, stock. I thought the SEP came with 19". I saw an SEP at the horse track Saturday. I didn't think to look, I wish I thought of it. I just kinda checked it out from a small distance. It looked pretty good with those Wheels and the blacked out chrome.... I didn't notice if it were lower or not. The wheels did seem larger, but that may be an optical elusion as the look much lighter also.... This money is burning a hole in my pocket, HURRY!, LOL!!!!
  7. BUMP! I have a few hundred extra bucks, need info please! Thanks
  8. So, would the stance height be changed with these? Also, so you are just replacing the springs and shocks/struts? What are the benefits?
  9. 305bucks after tax, WOW, that is a deal! I wonder what a difference in handling will be upheld.... Soon as my cash flow heals, I am going for it....
  10. BUMP! Any one know if this is right? Has anyone done this?
  11. WOWWY, ease up on the CAPS, LOL.... I was wondering the same thing. I test drove an SE the same time I did my SEL. The SE had the audiophile system and Suirus. When I was looking at both, I was told that my SEL that I was purchasing had the same system, but after getting it home, I found that it was not, and didn't have Sirius. I was quit bummed. I went to the local tunes shop and they wanted 1000bucks for two deck speakers a sub and a 4 channel amp. I know I can do it much cheaper. They say that alot of car manufacturers are using head units with RCAs now a days. Does anyone know if ours has them, and are there speaker wires going back to the rear deck?
  12. I was quit dissapointed that I couldn't get my SEL in manual. It is more sporty than the SE and to me, sport = more powerfull manual tranny.... More control, more fun to drive.
  13. All that for 260bucks!?!?! That doesn't sound right to me.... How can it be that cheap. Like someone said, gonna have to go test drive a SEP.... But for that cheap, it has to be worth it.... Still doesn't seem right though. A mood lighting kit is 270, and a performance suspension is 260?
