  1. that sleeve was a pain getting all the way in. i just ordered my tune so i will be fighting that sleeve again this weekend most likely. but I think it is all gong to be worth it.
  2. Thanks! I received it and got the CAI installed but I have only driven it 10 yards.... I have been to busy so hopefully tomorrow I can see how it is. And the tune will be coming in a few weeks.
  3. would you do $360 with no shipping? adding in a tune for 150 is stretching my budget for this. PM me your paypal if that works.
  4. do you have any idea how much it costs for a tune? i don't know if it is worth it to buy a tune now and then have to buy more if i make any changes. or if i should just buy a new one with lifetime tunes. I would also like that CAI but I am not sure if I want to spend that much right now.
  5. I am super interested in the Tuner for my '12 sport. but I don't know if my ecu code is the same. let me get back to you.
  6. the valve stem was where is should have been. upon further investigation of the tire we found a little hole. It seems that if I ran over something, it was very strong and small. but i managed to get a used sport wheel from a salvage yard for 100 bucks, and it was in better shape then my old one(even without the whole).
  7. it all depends on what you like. but a lot of people here will plastidip something, all the chrome, the grill, rims, whole car what ever. it is an easy mod that make s a difference. I have only dipped my badges on the back. people also tint. depending on where you live, will depend on what and how much you will tint. i have my windows tinted with the visor in the front and also my tail lights. i hate how red they are so i got the lightest tint the tone down the red. HID conversion is a little more expensive, if you try and cut corners doing this then you shouldn't even try. do it right. LED lights and LED Running lights, pop open your headlight and run some LEDs then connect it to ignition power. and done. make it your own but do your research on what exactly you are doing.
  8. I was driving to work with moderate traffic going about 75MPH and then a loud Boom. I thought I hit something but the cars in front and behind me were just fine. and this was on my rear driver side. There was no entry point in the tire, just this hole in the rim. has anyone else had this happen? my car only has 35K on it....
  9. on my 2010 Fusion, the whole housing is glued shut. If you are talking about just the colored part on top, than I don't think you will be able to separate them. If i were you i would do a nice tape job and either Plasti-Dip, with or without the metalizer and/or glossy clear coat. or just spray paint them. Or order the whole housing
  10. I like the look of flat black. but i am not a fan of coating the whole thing. i think it would look better with some other color or texture. i would show some logos, chrome, or even the gloss black window pillars. and lighten up the tail light tint. having it all black like that makes your headlights look out of place. to each their own, still looks good either way.
  11. on the camera I installed on another vehicle, (i am assuming it is somewhat the same) i left the purple/white wire disconnected. it is made to be hooked up to the Parking Brake, so when you want to watch a movie you have to put your brake on. i would check which input you plugged it into (mine had one specifically for the camera and then one for other video) also check the settings. it is hard to diagnose without actually seeing the whole setup. with out knowing more about your specific scenario, I can only ramble like this to try and help. but bottom line is that you shouldn't have one connected to your brakes in any way( unless you add the harness to let you watch videos). you should have the camera plugged in to the deck, and the reverse light, and possibly an additional power source. but that is it.
  12. awesome, can you post some pictures of it. I want it but i am trying to figure out the best way to install it. how much for the whole system?
  13. Durasel, that must be correct, I only have the 401. I only have the moon and tune. so i am guessing I cant get the sensor and have it work. this is my biggest complaint about this car(that and the moon roof switch is the old ford green and evreything else inside is the new aqua color). I mean my car from 2001 had this! anyways thanks for the clearing that up. for me.
  14. I know this has been covered, but all the posts i could find were abut SE models. so if some one could give me a quick answer it would be greatly appreciated. I have a 2010 Sport and like numerous others, that don't have the external temperature, I am looking to see how easy it is to get. I know that if you don't have it than it is hard to get. But on cars.com it says it comes standard in the sport. the reason why I don't know for sure is my car was involved in a front end collision before I got it. and the bumper grill and headlights are new. i am wondering if the just opted to not install a new sensor or if cars.com is wrong. I don't have automatic air, but I do have the Compass,(i think is stanard for all), the upgraded 12 speaker system and everything else the sport come standard with. http://www.cars.com/ford/fusion/2010/standard-equipment
