  1. To revive this thread a bit: Do the Husky liners have holes or whatever to hook into the security posts so the liner doesn't move around? The pictures on the Husky site don't seem to show that, at least for a 2011.
  2. Does it also do it in manual mode? I haven't tried that yet.
  3. I'm aware of that. I'm just saying that I know I have warranty at least into February 2014.
  4. As someone who just bought a used 2011 Fusion (just over 24K miles), I'm getting worried about the transmission now. When I test drove it, it was generally fine as it had sat and idled for awhile to warm up due to ice and snow on the car. But, when I tried driving it cold a few days later, after buying it, it had a noticeable 2-3 flare until it warmed up. Once warmed up, it was fine, although I still think it seems to hold onto 2 for longer than needed. I think I still have some warranty time left (2/11 build date), so I guess I'll bring it in to see what can be done. Has anyone had a total failure (limp-home or tow required), or has it so far been mainly a performance issue? Given how highly rated the car is in most quality polls, I'm surprised about an issue like this.
  5. Just found it on my 2011. It is on the the fuse box or whatever, on the right side ('front' view, facing the back of the car, not facing the driver's feet), just above a cable connector. I could see a blue/yellow symbol and a bar code. I had to use a small mirror and light to see the numbers.
  6. Just bought a nearly maxed out 2011 Fusion SEL (I think everything except AWD and Nav) a few days ago, about 24.5K miles, $16.5K. Still trying to get used to everything. Had a 2000 Mercury Sable LS Premium before. So far, it's very nice (my father has a 2012 Fusion Hybrid), with only a few minor issues. I know the brakes will need work sometime this year (rotors getting a bit scored and the insides are more worn than the outside.) The tires are somwhat worn but still about 'double' the wear bars. I'll see how bad it is when we have the next snow to see if I should replace them now or if it can wait until the fall. The only other issues are not having the keypad code (tried looking under the dash, but didn't see anything obvious), and the blower motor makes a low but annoying squeal/chirp at low speeds. The car has a 2/11 build, so I should still have a bit of warranty time left on it. It was a leased/fleet vehicle before I bought it.
