Is there any way to determine if it is defective? Resistance check?

Hopefully someone can help me. I am positing in the interior section and not the modification section since I feel is applys more in this section. Background - I have a 2010 Ford Fusion SE, 4 cylinder with a manual transmission. The factory seats are cloth and have a power driver seat. I wanted leather so I purchased 2010 or 2011 ford fusion leather seats and easily took out the factory and bolted in the leather seats. My new seats are power driver and power passenger along with heated which is another project I have to deal with / figure out. My Problem - After bolting in the seats, I now have a yellow warning light on the dash. Looks like a person sitting with the steering wheeel and an air bag that has gone off. I assume this is the air bag warning light. Anyone that can state what I have to do to get this light to go off, please let me know. I purchased a 2010 fusion with a 6 speed manual, this guy needs a third pedal, but the down side is that the car doesn't have much features. I as sun I do not have heated mirrors since there is no button for them - does anyone know how hard it would be to add heated mirrors?

Hello everyone, Just the last couple of days I have noticed a minor coolant smell when I get in my car. I don't smell it in the air vents and my windows dont have a film on them which is usually sign of a heater core leak. I checked my level in the over flow and it is fine - I will monitor the level to see if it is gonig down. Did these cars have any issues with minor coolant leaks?

Funny you say this, I experience this with my 2010 4 cylinder manual trans fusion as well. Did you ever notice a hick up under load? I have a long steep hill about 1 mile from my house. Going up the hill it sometimes feels like it misses. I changed my plugs (car had 85K miles on it) and it 'seemed' to go away but that could be the placebo effect.

Hello everyone - my car came with non heated cloth seats. I purchased ford fusion leather heated seats. The heated seat switch is built into the climate control which is dual climate control when heated seats were installed, my car is single climate control. Has anyone added heated seats to their SE fusion? If so, what switch did you find to purchase
