  1. Good afternoon, I've owned my 2010 Ford Fusion SEL for the past 3 years with no issues. I have the Sony setup with the surround sound. This morning i got in my car and I noticed I have no audio coming out of my speakers. If I push buttons on my touch screen I do not hear the beep I normally would. Volume up/down doesn't do anything other than showing on the touch screen "Maximum Volume". I have scoured the internet and cannot find a solution to this issue. The only solution I found was to replace The DSP Module (Part Number AE5Z 18B849 C) which seems to be the amplifier. This didn't seem to fix the issue on anyone else's car though. I pulled the power off the battery for 30 seconds, then connected the negative terminal but still have the same issue. Anyone else experience this and know of a solution? Thanks!
  2. I own a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL V6. Last November I got the P2119 code and brought it to ford. They replaced the throttle body for free due to some recall on it. It ran great until recently, I got the P2119 code again. Car would go into limp mode, not respond right to when i hit the gas... So instead of bringing it back to ford, i replaced the throttle body today I got off of Amazon. Car ran great in the 5 min test drive. Couple of questions, has anyone else seen this happen where a 6 month old throttle body goes bad? The part itself looks brand new, right now the blade isnt completely shut, seems to be on an angle, not sure if that means anything. There was also a SMALL amount of oil in the throttle body. Is this normal? Thanks guys!
  3. I bet the wire harness is right there and they in fact pop right in.
  4. This happens on any start, cold/warm. No check engine lights or anything.
  5. OK, I will do so on lunch today. Where my fingers are at 50 seconds in is really where it feels the strongest. While in the car, I don't hear anything. I only noticed it when I had the hood open.
  6. Oops, forgot to put that in. 33k miles. 16.5k before/after tax?
  7. Thanks for the update. Good to hear I am not the only one. As long as it is normal I don't mind it.
  8. Hey guys, Nick here. I just bought a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL 3.0 V6. I paid $14,600 after NYS sales tax and DMV fees. It was $13,500 before tax and fees. There is 33,000 on the clock for mileage. I attached the original window sticker to this thread. It cost nearly 32k brand new. I did some looking around and I think I got a good deal. What do you all think? I will take pictures of it this weekend after I clean it perfectly to my standards lol. I eventually want to upgrade the wheels, perhaps to a set of stock rims that are slightly larger so the wheel well is filled up more. Thanks and look forward to talking with you all! 9. I just bought a 2010 Ford Fusion V6 with flex fuel. So far, everything is great. It seems to drive perfectly. However I noticed an odd sound from the engine bay an decided to look closer. After starting the car, the engine purrs like a kitten. After about 15 seconds, I hear this odd ticking/knocking sound. After about a minute or two, it stops. here is a link to the video with sound. The sounds starts 18 seconds in after a cold start. http://youtu.be/iwFq9dbX2ws Where my hand/fingers are at about 50 seconds in is where I believe the sound to be originating from. Is this normal or should I be worried? I bought the car used, low mileage at 33,000 so I am kind of paranoid! Thanks
