  1. Its also depends in what weather condition you're running your car. I saw a documentary about Conventional VS Synthetic oil during Xtrem hot& Extreme Cold Condition (for a car xtreme cold its just under -20 BTW) and for the same GRADE of oil (5w20) the synthetic was staying very liquid even under -45 degrees and the conventional was getting thicker( even if its the same grade, which the grade is suppose to determine the thickness). For me, living in cold weather (-30 avg in winter time) i rather pur xtra $$$ in oil and be worry free... I have Mobil1 5w20 in engine and also Synthetic oil in tranny. P.S : the documentary i saw wasnt an bullshit thing. it was part of my mechanical engineering course.
  2. Think about it that way... If you buy winter tires..... you'll have a WAY better grip, even if its cheap winter tires....Sometimes experience means nothings when an accident is about to happen. You all-season tire will also last probably 2 times longer beacause you dont put any mileage on them during winter.... so it will be quite the same.... you'll pay for winter tire, but on long term... you'll recover the money and you will drive more safely for you and the other drivers around you. For me, i'm on Blizzak during winter..... THERES NO ALL SEASONS tire who will give me the grip that i want for my AWD fusion.
  3. I also have a V6... I love it... the only concern its that im AWD and i'm doing 90% city mileage.... So its a little expensive on gas....
  4. On my older car, 1991 camry, i bought GE nightHawk buls, i was surprise to see the improvement VS OEM bulbs.... and they are cheap.... like 27$ for the pair.... they suppose to provide 30% more light... and I can agree with that..... it's way less expensive then HIDS and PIAAs Xtreme whites..... Sure NO IT IS REALLY NOT the same as HID's but for 27$, its a good upgrade.... i'll get some for sure on my Fusion. They are rated 55watts also
  5. For the brand of speakers you want....it really depends what kind of music you're listening to.....Give me more details and i'll be able to answer you... And yes you'll have sound improvement but it will be WAY more if you'Re willing to pay Xtra money and change Head unit.
  6. I can't believe that some poeple still use 4 seasons tires during winter... I'm strongly agreeing with the new law in Quebec Province that obliges you to have winter tires From Dec 1st to March 31th. I've seen so much idiot risking there lives and the lives of others ... keeping there 4 seasons tires for winter. Even CHEAP value winter tires are better then all-seasons. For me its an AWD fusion with Bridgestone Blizzaks WS-60 on it..... The funniest hing also , its if you have 2 sets of tires.... That means they will wear Half of the time quicker so its quite the same and you dont risk lives of others.... Sorry if im pissed but one of my firend is dead because of a NEWB who drove his civic with 60% used all seasons tires...
  7. Your Xenon kit is pulling out 35 watts.... the oem kit is 55w. So, you need to buy resistor pack for the equivalent (35w for your Xenon + 20w for resistor) then you'llhave no problem.
  8. If i hit fairly hard on the bottom right of the key whole, while pulling up to open the trunk, the trunk open by itself without key. :| Really hitiing hard tho....
  9. Hi everybody, I just wonder what are your insurance rates for you car: I wnat to compare with mine. 1. Exact model & year of the car 2. Male or Female 3. Age 4. Where do you live 5. If you had any infraction to your Driver Liscense(in the past 36 months) 6. Price of your insurance(specified Can$ or US$) Example for me 1. 2008 Ford Fusion SEL v6 AWD 2. Male 3. 25 yrs old 4. Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada 5. Got a 9 points ticket 2 years ago, on my Mitsubishi Lancer on the highway. 6. 1480 Can$/yr (with my wife on insurance)
  10. i want to order PIAAs Xtreme white plus 4000k for my fusion.... Just wonder what the heck is H11 LL is it the same as H11s????? Cuz Low beam are H11 LL and fog lamps are h11..... Please answer... I also look at HIDs ... and the only got h11s...... so the guys who got HID's are your bulbs are h11s or h11s LL ???
  11. Today i got the chance to see the difference between a HiD Fusion and a Piaa Fusion. Personnally there's not a big difference between the 2. Yes, HIDs provide more light.... but the guy with the PIAAs put 2 H7 and normal bulblights and 2 h11 for the fog lamps. With the 4 PIAAs, it was a huge imrpovement vs OEM light and PIAAs are pulling 55 watts, so you don't need to bother to buy resistor pack for it. By the way, i went to see for prices, and i'm able to get the 4 PIAAs for around 170$, wich is much cheaper and you don't need to do nothing to the car. So, i'll go for the PIAAs. Too bad tho i don't have pictures to prove it. Once i'll have mine, i'll take some pics for you guys.
  12. That's why i bought Blizzaks Ws-60 on 16'' instead of having cheaper tires on 17 for the same price
