  1. I just bought 16'' rims to put winter tires on them and i wonder if the tire inflation indicator is just a light or there's annoying sounds that comes with it? Because i just wanna put normal valves....
  2. What you need to do is to go into your SYNC menu and select your input device, i had the same problem with my car.... just read the Sync book provided with your car... pretty easy to do
  3. My Ford car dealer Sold me 16 inches rims and he told me to put 225 60r16 on it.
  4. Hi all! You might wanna read what i've found on Internet for Oil test and Durability. You'll also see, that if you change your filter on a normal basic, that oil can be good up to 18 000 miles http://www.performanceoilnews.com/oils_against_oils.shtml http://neptune.spacebears.com/cars/stories/oil-life.html
  5. I'll try to find my Camera and i'll take some pics for you guys Also a Fors Dealer Manager sign me a paper that i'm able to tow 2000 lbs without voiding my warranty.
  6. In my 08 SEL AWD v6, i have glossy black Trim dash kit, wich all scratches appears very easily, so i bought i little lovely product to polish them up and removes all imperfections : It's call PlastX by Megulars . Works very well
  7. Here's a link about ways to save fuel.... http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/personal...gas-saving.html There's some good tips ... Enjoy
  8. Official numbers are 59.375 mph .... on cruise control, windows closed and no A/C with 32 psi in tires, is it precise enough???
  9. How do we remove speed limiter on the v6 , mines stops at 114mph
  10. I got an 08 SEL AWD V6 for the last couple of months and i'm a little bit dissapointed about the performance of that car. Seriously my old Lancer Ralliart with Cat Back and Cold air intake was way faster, and I know the both of these cars are not racing cars but seriously for the increase of money i put in the gas tank, i would expect better performance out of it, even if it's a family sedan car.
  11. I know that you were not looking for an AWD but on my 08 Fusion SEL AWD with 3500 miles on it and doing about 60% city/40% HWY im good to do about 25 mpg with very light foot and on more heavier feet i'm doing about 20. SO the FWD will be better on mileage that my AWD Hope that helps.
  12. I Think i can say that im living in GOD DAMN COLD Weather here in Northern Alberta, Canada. Half of winter is below -30 F, with a lot of ice and snow. My AWD fusion is very good, specially with good tires on it, never had any problems. For fuel Economy it was bad for the first 3500 miles, but not it seems to be a lot better , like 10% better that when bought it. Im recommending the purchase.
  13. I wanna change my spark plugs on my 08 SEL v6 AWD .... cuz everyone knows that stock one sucks... Bucsh as now Platinum Ir Fusion™ supposel;y better then platinium + 4 Someone knows something about it? I wanna knows ... if it worth the prices and if any notice MPG increase and power?
  14. I bought an 08 SEL AWD with black interior.... the dash Plastic trims and Glossy Black... and only after 1600 miles, they'Re all fluffly ... like angle hair on a black paint.... its really annoying, looking like my car is 10 years old
  15. Im not using Bluetooth on my GPS but i bought a GARMIN NUVI 650 and its just amazing gps i bought I personnaly rate it 5/5 You Should probably consider to buy it. Even if you<re in the States , go take a look on www.gpscity.ca They got the best prizes for GPS
  16. For sure you'll lose sync, and you need a converter to keep your Steering wheel audio controls You can find one at www.crutchfield.com Click on car audio. You'll find on a TAB Car Stereo&component and it's in Steering wheel audio control adapter. For the dash : just pull gently from the bottom with a screwdriver.
  17. Hitch : www.valleyindustries.com 3500lbs rated you also need a special converter for your lights because Fusion use Delta signals ( means only one wire for all flasher)
  18. For the one who are interested of buying a Trailer hitch, I found a 3500LBS one made by valley industries. Here's the link : http://www.valleyindustries.com/ The only problem is that Fusion does'nt have the holes for it , so you Have to do your own holes to hook up the hitch to the car and you also have to undone the mounting for the exhaust before to be able to install it. Also you have to pass your bolt by the side of the bumper frame, Thats means that you need to try to pass a wire from the side to the holes then after tie your bolt to that wire and pull it threw the holes . Believe me it's quite a pain in the ass to do. Also, an Universal Trailer Hitch wiring harness WONT fit on the fusion, because it's working with delta signals( 1 wire do all the flashing light), so you have to buy a converter for your lights, It's a Plug&Play kinda converter, so its easy to install, you dont have to do any splicing fir your wires, The only thing, you need to pass a wire from the back to the battery, and you need also a ground point. All the necessary to do the job is included in the kit. Thats kit is about 65 bucks. The hitch is about 150 bucks. + labor time if you dont do it by your own. I can take pictures if someone needs help.
