  1. Hello, It's been a long time since I've been here. Getting serious about purchasing a fusion. I am wondering just how reliable the Ecoboost engines are. Should I even look at the smaller Ecoboost engines or look at the non turbo engines. Car would mainly be driven around town and a few road trips. Thanks for any advice.
  2. Sorry for the confusion. I did mean the dealership.
  3. If one took their car to Ford for oil changes, and it was overfilled by Ford, Who would pay for damages (if any) caused by overfilling the oil? Provided one kept all the receipts for the service.
  4. I'm interested in what people say also. With an 8 mile commute to work, I'm interested in either a hybrid or the Energi. I'm also looking at the EcoBoost.
  5. Do a search for Junkman on YouTube. He has several videos explaining what to do and products. This is part 1 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=w09r6m6sRCA He participates on several auto forums and has a big following.
  6. I'm not 100% sure, but I would think dragging 400 pounds behind you would put a different stress on the drive train and brakes.
  7. Thanks for the info, I'm really considering one. Thanks for the fusion Energi forum, I'll check it out.
  8. For those that have a Fusion Energi, how satisfied are you with it? Would you recommend one? Since 95% of my driving is either just around town or an 8 mile commute to work, I've been thinking about looking into it.
  9. Back in '05 we bought a new Nissan Altima. Without telling us the dealer had it driven 360 miles. We thought it was going to be delivered by trailer. They did start the warranty from the mileage shown on the car.
  10. I've seen that also and thought it was weird. Interesting, good to know.
  11. Thanks, sounds like I can almost compare it to the '79 Turbellaria Mustang I had. Just updated and an auto trans instead of a 4 speed manual.
  12. What's the acceleration like with the 1.5 Eco-boost? With my Ranger, I feel I need to do a lot of planning when merging on to the highway. No one like to let you on, and the Ranger is slow to accel..
  13. Thanks for the replies, I may opt for the Eco- Boost, as my commute mostly consists of a couple short trips in town and a 8 mile trip (highway) to work. Before I'd consider the Energi, it would have to come way down in price.
  14. I'm about a year out from purchasing a Fusion. Already test drove a hybrid and was pretty impressed. I can't seem to find an Eco boost to test drive. Most of my driving is around town and to work (8 mile) trip. Which makes more sense, the hybrid or the Eco boost. My main concern is gas mileage followed by not getting run over when entering a highway. Thanks.

Just joined be cause this looks like a decent Forum to learn about the Fusion. I'm looking to buy one in the next year or so. Really interested in the Hybrid or Eco-Boost versions. I did test drive a Hybrid and was impressed, dealer didn't have an Eco-Boost to compare. So, I'm hoping to learn some stuff here.
