  1. Can't believe anyone would tint the windshield. Let alone for it to be legal. I'll be tinting my SE all away around soon, but won't be touching the windshield.
  2. On the 2014 SE you can set this from the instrument screen. I left it having to do a double press just so my wife knows who's boss.
  3. I have a 2014 SE. Purchased April 5. Currently have about 680 miles. So far I've only taken it on one "trip" that was about 20 miles. All other driving is around town and work (6 miles). The panel displays 19 up to 20.6 for my mileage. I have no problems with the performance. Smooth and quiet. There is some turbo-lag. Nothing that gets you into trouble. Plenty of power for acceleration and lane changes. Oops. I have the 1.5L Eco-boost
  4. Just curious, why do you want to do this? I've had a 2014 SE since April 5 and have found the stereo to be more than adequate. Sirius radio sucks, but that's a compression broadcast problem.
  5. 640 miles, but I've only had it since April 5.
  6. I've had the car 5 weeks and the acceleration is good. There's some turbo-lag, but nothing that can get you into trouble. Mostly coming off the line.
  7. I opted for the 1.5 Eco-boost. My drive to work is 6.5 miles. As much as I'm for "saving the planet" I couldn't justify paying an additional $1,400 a year to save $700 a year in gas.
  8. Impressive, but something I'll never see. Just got a 2014 SE. Traded in my 2001 Taurus with 57,140 miles.
  9. Traded in a 2001 Taurus with 57,200 miles we had bought new for a 2014 Fusion SE with Ecoboost. Miss - - Not having car payments Don't miss - - The peeling paint. LOL - Rough engine idle - Driving an old car Enjoy - - The looks of the Fusion and the compliments - Listening to my iPod - Improved gas mileage - Having the new technology (though I have no real need or desire to be on the phone while I'm driving.)
  10. Just got me (3 weeks ago) a 2014 Fusion SE with the Ecoboost engine. Sterling Grey Metallic with charcoal black interior. Was interested in the hybrid, but couldn't justify the price increase as I only put on about 5,000mi/yr. Traded in a 2001 Taurus (57,200 miles) which I had bought new from the same dealer. I feel like I bought a computer on 4 wheels! 3 weeks and I just learned today about using my iPod through the USB port instead of the line-in! And I learned that thanks to this forum. We also have a 1936 Ford Tudor in the garage.
