Why not take it to a Ford dealer? Have your wife sit in the car and see what the dealer can do as far as adjusting the headrest, etc. so she is comfortable.

I have the same car (1,900 miles). I noticed a huge difference in the braking from the Fusion to our other car. I was almost afraid to drive the two on the same day. But now at almost 5 months I don't notice it anymore.

I get the same lag with a hard acceleration especially from a stop or slow roll like when you're making a left turn. I don't have that experience if I'm at speed and begin a smooth acceleration.

I got the SE. I liked the color scheme of Sterling Grey Metallic with black interior and, coming from a 2001 Taurus, the SE had more than enough new bells and whistles. Didn't need MYTouch, auto start, start-stop. I considered the hybrid, but I don't drive enough for it to make sense so I "settled" for the 1.5 Ecoboost. With just over 1,500 miles on it I've really enjoyed the car.

Sirius Radio has such bad sound quality an antenna change could only help.

You want bad ass engine noise? Get 440 hemi in a 1969 Road Runner?

Radio still has it's place.

Another thread here stated when Blue Tooth activates (or maybe used) it changes the setting to stereo.

Don't know a thing about autoplay. My music is on an iPod and I just press "Media" when I want it.

Dealer service tech said it was a serious safety shut-down to prevent "Further" engine damage!

Since no codes were triggered by the event can it just mean the engine, at that moment, felt it needed to protect itself, but there isn't necessarily an ongoing problem?

I've had mine for 3 months now (1320 miles) and I'm still learning things. The Ford dealer and salesman really only explained enough to get the car off the lot and home. Going from a 2001 Taurus to a 2014 Fusion only the tires were familiar.

I certainly agree with you regarding today's youth. I don't know if it really applies to a forum promoting itself as the Ford Fusion Forum, but it appears it is the philosophy of the moderator staff (or at least half of it ).

I really wish people that have the answer would post it ending with "this information can also be found on page XX" rather than just pointing people somewhere else. Part of the purpose of a forum is to find answers whether someone couldn't find it, doesn't have time to look for it or just doesn't want to look for it. Maybe they're at their office and the manual is at home. Additionally there may be other people that could benefit from the answer.

People seem so spoiled and/or self-entitled these days, but that's probably just me getting old.

I can remember when . . .

- A/C was an extra

- The passenger mirror was an extra

- Seat belts were not standard

We have someone who comes to our office every Friday and hand washes the cars. I'll have to ask him.

Any self respecting dealership should be happy to make sure it's working properly if you've only had the car 3 weeks and its never worked. It seems like it's something your salesman could take care of.

Considered the Camaro for about 20 minutes before deciding on the Fusion. I leased one a couple of times on out-of-town trips. Loved the power and the handling, but it just wasn't practical for everyday use.

I have a Galaxy S4. When I got the replacement (after breaking the screen) I deleted the existing phone sync (2014 SE) and redid the sync with the new phone. Phone and car are automatically synced now whenever I'm in the car.

Hopefully this was tongue-in-cheek.

Does it cut out playing a CD or using a media device?
