I just got a new to me 2012 sport. I'm the same way but u gotta remember it is just a car. In a few months when u get ur first large stone knick or a chipped windshield ur gonna drive itself nuts until u come to grips with the fact its just a car. As far as looking for things wrong I couldn't comment cuz I've never even driven the new fusions. Just enjoy the new ride and try not to worry bout things too much or ull never enjoy it. Hell someone couldkey it or slice ur tires. Then what r u gonna think. More things important in life brother!!! But congrats on the new ride!!!

Well the dealership said they will repair it and in a few months if I'm not happy with it they will replace the whole bottom portion of the the seat. ... Needless to say sales and service at fairway ford in Canfield Ohio is alright by me

I guess my main question is .... Is this actually possible. To strip the leather/vinyl and to actually re dye it and it actually be durable and look good

Well the dealership called back. Fomoco said no to the warranty claim. But the dealership said they would have their leather/ vinyl person strip the entire seat and re dye it and it would be like new...does this sound like a good idea and good deal?

Well I go tomorrow to have then look at it. Take pics and send it to ford. I'll be really pissed if they tell me tough luck.... My list of vehicles. ... 2 t birds 97 f150 2006 f250 2006 fusion and now 2012 fusion. 4 of which I bought from this dealership. I guess I'll be more offended if they don't do something about it

I hoping for the best. Its just getting g worse everyday. Worse case .... Howmuch is a new sear. Its all power and heated with air bags....ugh. I know not cheap

Only problem is the dealer is telling me its nor.al wear and tear. . . its a certified pre owned and I did a pretty good look down before I signed but this particular area you can tell was touched up because the moment I touched it it started flaking. . . they want me to come in Monday to have their leather person look at it and also take pics. Is there anything I need to know before going in about the warranty or are they most likely gonna just say normal wear and tear sorry. I'm just so pissed off cuz this is the nicest car I've ever owned and now I gotta deal with the seats falling Apart

The leather / vinyl is starting to peal . kind of like a sun burn does. I boughtthis car four days ago and is certified pre owned. It only has 22 k miles. Before iI take it to the dealer do u think this is covered under the factory warrant?

Let me start by saying I'm new to the forum and this is my first post....but today I traded in my 06 we v6 for a 2012 sport with the 402a package. I think this car has as the bells and whistles available except for awd. But just trying to get some feed back. It was kinda a spur of the moment buy because I needed something more reliable because the 06 was starting to become a money pit. I've come to the conclusion I will always own a fusion. I just love these cars. I guessiI'm asking is this a good choice compared to all the other fusion options out there?
